Oh, I may be on the side of the angels... but don't think for one second that I am one of them.
I once cared deeply for humans.
As a guardian angel, I cared for my charges. I watched over them, guided them, protected them. I was always there, never seen and never heard. I have protected many humans and watched them live their lives. I no longer remember if I had a mortal life or the Creator simply made me as an angel, but I loved every life that I was given care of.
I loved humans despite their flaws. I loved them almost as much as our Creator loved them.
But I was so naive.
Perhaps it was the Fall that was the cause of the end.
