they left me here
and they call me the monster

Mer had always been a little different as a little boy, he was the youngest of ten siblings so of course mom and pop never had any time for the poor lad. He passed his days being bullied by his older siblings, by being shoved into mud face first to having nothing to eat at the dinner table. He took the brunt of everyone's abuse.
It wasn't until his family's fifth annual trip to the cabin that poor little Mer snapped. In the dead of night the five year old snapped and slaughtered all his siblings as they slept. Some died by suffocation, others died by having their throats slit, it just mattered on how badly they abused him. When mom and pop woke up to their youngest, quietest child sitting in a pool of blood did they realize what had happened. They didn't turn him in, who could turn in their own baby. Oh no. Instead, they tranquilized him and left him there.
Years passed and poor little Mer grew. From lack of proper nutrition the already slender child grew bony, his skin like paper over his bones. From years spent in the dark, his sight slowly vanished and his whole eyes turned white. Whether from fear or malnutriton, his once pitch black hair also faded away to a ghostly white as well.
Poor little Mer slowly grew into a monster, any foolish hikers who dared trespass into his home wound up in the same position of his deceased siblings. He'd feast off their flesh and chew on their bones, they'd never stand a chance against the gaunt giant.
The only company Mer does keep is a fat, vicious racoon whom he seems to communicate in a series of clicks and hisses. Of course, he has never seen the racoon so often times poor Mer is clicking and hissing to himself and responding to his own echos.
