Why SeaWorld?
There are many opinions on what the adventure park is. For small children, it's a wondrous place to visit creatures you would never get a chance to see up close. In their eyes, it's magical.

For animal activist groups or concerned citizens, it's a money-grubbing business run by people who seem oblivious to their evil deeds and hell bent on keeping creatures that should be roaming free locked up in way-too-small living spaces.

And for parents, it's about $300 in which you've never seen your child so happy or haven't experienced this much fun since you ran through the sprinklers butt naked as a child.

The place gives us a ton of knowledge on marine wildlife while making it entertaining, sometimes at the expense of creatures we have yet to really understand but can better study thanks to the park. One cannot deny the pleasure of seeing these great creatures so up close and personal, especially since most of the sea creatures would not be seen so up close; even whale watching will not give you this same experience.
