How do you run away when you were born in the circus?

You see, my father owns the most popular circus in all of Subeta. And my mother is, erm...was the star acrobat. She's not around anymore. It's just me and my dad.

I love my dad. Really, I do. It's just...he wants me to be my mother. And I'm just not her. She was breathtakingly beautiful; athletic but wonderfully graceful. Her trapeze act was so fluid it almost seemed to hypnotize the audience.

My only memories of my mother are of her gliding through the air. I would sneak out of bed just to catch a peek of her show. Hiding under the stands, I remember seeing the spotlights hit her shimmering body and long, flowing gown as she effortlessly soared between the swings.

I sadly did not inherit her talents. My act consists of my horde of minions and I running around and being silly. I am basically the clown act; the least respected act of any circus. Sometimes I feel I am an embarrassment to my heritage.

But the children love my act. And if other acts start to go sour, my minions and I are there to save the day. So I push on.

My dad swears one day I will grow to be beautiful as well, but for now I am just the chubby, awkward, and painfully cute sweetheart of the circus.
