EDIT FOR NEW NAME!
Venerate: Regard with great respect (revere, worship, idolise)

...

"For the last time," the prince snapped, glaring at the servant currently on the floor before him, "watch where you're going. Do you honestly expect me to keep an eye out to make sure I don't bang into someone in my own house?"

The servant mumbled a barely heard apology before rushing off before the other man could say anything more. Many people would likely say he was to blame, given how often he in particular seemed to bump into the prince but then again, from what other servants had said, he also seemed to be near the other man more often as a whole. Meaning it was probably the prince doing it on purpose. What he had against him in particular was unknown, but the servant was determined he would find a way to get his own back eventually.

It wouldn't be an easy, task, however. It was a well known fact in the world that the higher your status, the more people listened to you... and tended to just assume you were right. Which was a problem with the prince, really. People practically worshipped him - found something appealing in the peculiarity of his snow white skin and eyes that were such a pale blue they were also practically white themselves. The masses would follow him to the ends of the earth irrespective of what he said, and for the most part, it wasn't without any form of practical reason either. He was a good prince really: one who actually listened to what his subjects had to say rather than just ruling over them with an iron fist the same was his father did.

It was a shame really that he didn't treat his servants with the same care as he did everyone else. The way others idolised him made him rather full of himself also.

"I'm always right" was his favourite thing to say around the palace, and it was something that was rarely disputed, whether it was right or not. People would assume the same of him, even when he wasn't around. Which is why the servant was in such a predicament; mention anything and people would just call him a liar. Of course their prince wouldn't do such a thing. And even if he would, who in their right mind would accept the word of a servant over that of a prince?

old... just in case I need it. Again, probably not
