The Princess and the Finn is a fairytale based loosely on my relationship with my real-life boyfriend, Vincent. Here we are! We really did meet on a snowy night, but instead of diamond-encrusted doves there were sleds! And I really did have a no-boyfriend-until-college rule. Coming from an all-girls high school it wasn't particularly hard to uphold, but that night I met Vincent I felt something that was truly magical and I still have trouble explaining.

As for the rest of the story...I'll let you decided what is real and what isn't.

But I will tell you that we started dating officially on June 16, 2008, the very day that Vince the pet was born.

Oh! One more thing. Why Finn, you may ask? Doesn't it make more sense for it to be "Vin"? Well, Vincent's little brother had a lisp when we first started dating, and instead of Vincent, he would call him "Fincent". I called him Finn one day in a text and the rest is history.
