Note: Amandi is based off of my own OC, Amanda. This is just a summary of the actual story, not the whole thing.

Amanda grew up in a city that was always covered in a darkness. The place knew no sunlight, only night. The people of the city did nothing but party, all night long.

Growing up in this darkness didn’t phase her, though. She spent her days learning, rather than playing. She had a knack for building things. Amanda would always try and invent things to help people... but usually they ended up doing quite the opposite.

Soon she started looking into Artificial Intelligence, and tried building small creatures. They actually worked, much to her surprise! She had invented a small device that worked like a heart. And it kept these small robotic creatures alive!

As she got older, she begun building bigger and bigger creations, till she made T.R.U. Her most impressive feat yet. Most folks were afraid of this hulking, robotic T-Rex, but he was just a soft puppy dog at heart. Amanda’s favorite... till she met him.

One day, while strolling through the forgotten and desolate park their city had, she came across a young man sitting on a bench. He didn’t appear to be alive at first glance. Though, from her incessant poking at his shoulder, he finally stirred, grabbing her hand.

“What?” he asked, with a bit of a scowl.

“Oh nothing,” Amanda pulled her hand back shyly. “Just... I didn’t know if you were alive or not, kind of worried me...” she admitted.

This young man’s eyes softened. “Why would you care? People in this city don’t seem to care so why do you?” he asked.

“I... I’ve never been much like the people here,” she smiled. “I’m Amanda by the way...” she offered her hand, hesitantly.

The man stared at her offered hand for a moment, before taking it. “Fredric,” he said. “And... if you need to know...”

Amanda sat next to him on the bench as he explained his predicament. He was dying. Though he didn’t seem very phased by it. He knew it for a long time. He’d been born with a heart defect, and he was honestly surprised he had lived this long.

An idea struck Amanda, and, with much insisting, she drug him back to her small lab. Here she showed him the device she used in her robotic dinosaurs, and, with some alterations, she could make it work for him.

He was hesitant, of course. She explained that she’d basically have to rewire his whole body. Instead of veins, he’d have the cords from this device running through him. Once he saw the things she had created, and, since he had nothing to loose after all, he agreed.

It didn’t take long for Amanda to implant this new ‘heart.’ Fredric awoke the next day, and felt... different. He felt like... he had something he never had before. A heart? Maybe.

Now Fredric’s body was covered in stitches, but he was alive. More than alive. He had a reason worth living now. This young girl who had given him this meaning... that’s what he was going to live for.

Now Amanda and Fredric, along with a few of Fredric’s friend he had introduced her to, were inseparable. Amanda and Fredric especially.
