A marvel they called him. Astounding they exclaimed! But Kawauso felt neither of these. They knew early into their "life" that they were not normal. No flesh or blood. But cogs and gears. They could not cry, could not smile. No emotions to be able to express what they wanted people to know.

Why had that man, their creator, forsaken them like this? They just wanted to be able to smile whilst they played as the sun shone upon their face. They wanted to be able to cry when something upset them. But their mechanical torment does not allow this luxury.

Many a night Kawauso would stare up at the moon wondering how to fix this curse placed upon them? They just wanted to be real. They wanted to feel like the other Ontra's. Gazing upon the moon they wished as hard as they could. "Please, I just want to be a real Ontra!"

One day Kawauso saw something. A human walking along with their pet Feli, stroking its head they gave it something to drink. Golden in colour shining like a bottle of hope, the Feli changed. The Feli turned into a Golden Kora. How?! Was it that liquid? It turned that pet into a real different other pet. Could it work on me? Are there ones for Ontra's!? Kawauso searched for answers, researched what that liquid was ... and they had their answer.

Elixers. A potion that turned you into what ever pet the elixer was designed for, to their amazement and delight there were some for Ontra. High and Low, for days on end they searched until they had them all. Every Ontra elixer possible.

One of these had to work. One of these had to fulfil Kawauso's wish to be real.

Drinking down the first potion. The liquid sliding down. Waiting. Waiting. Nothing. But why?! They didnt understand it, the Feli changed right away! Not detered, they tried another, gulping down the pink liquid of the dawn elixer, pleading internally that it would work. But again, Nothing.

One by one, the elixers were drunk down. One by one no reaction. Unable to even cry. To express the utter devastion thrust upon them from their endeavor not coming to fruition, Kawauso realised the truth they didnt want to know.

They will forever be a mechanical version of what they wanted to be oh-so-much.
