About Red Calypso
# My name is Red Calypso. This is not the name I was born with, I have long since shed that name along with the ties connected with it. I was born to an average couple who live on the outskirts of Centropolis. My father is a handyman who does what work he can find and my mother is one of the many Subetans who provide emergency care to the injured until they can reach the Healer. They were content with their little lives, I was not. I left their home at the age of 15 and spent the next few years wandering from one area of Subeta to another. It was during those travels that I found my current home, one of the cave systems in the mountains just above Veta Lake. I was charmed by all the available space, something sorely lacking in the home I grew up in. I had gathered a few trinkets in my travels, but I was limited by what I could carry. Now, with the caves, I could indulge myself in my fondest dream, collecting one of every item available on Subeta. It is this goal that I devote most of my time on, travelling all over Subeta in the process. The main shops in Centropolis, the small stores on side streets, the marketplaces, I know each and every one of them. In my wanderings I have made many unique friends. Sirenia, the forlorn mermaid who endlessly swims the rivers of Subeta looking for her lost love. WinterKISS, the ethereal healer who is bound to the cold of the Arctic Frost but whose heart is drawn to the sunny beaches. Mayla, the wandering musician who has made the echoing mountains of Veta Lake her home away from home. Honeybunney2001328, the shy, gentle soul who resides in Peka Glade with the animals she loves so dearly. PUNK, who lurks in the Shadowglen Graveyard, armed and ready to scare anyone that crosses her path. Bruiser, the part-Pantoran whose greatest passion is the night sky. Laurie, also known as Laurs, whose main residence seems to be the training school at Riverside. Blue_7899, the reluctant zombie who is willing to pay the price to remain friends with Skeeter, and who is eternally grateful to her other friends who put up with her condition. Teardropfallen, sweetest and dearest of friends, who loves her many friends as her family and chose to live in Peka Glade to be near the animals she loves. Wolfcat, the festival-loving shifter of the Sacred Lands, who ventures into the world once a month looking for festivities and adventure. Silverlunarfox, the wanderer, who is as varied and changing as the seasons and Subeta herself. -
