To those who will read this little blurb, the guys above are my babies. Well, I do have real children, but they are grown & live lives. Lucy is the real baby of the bunch. Scrappy is or was her Brother. His is a sad tale. One of which I cry about every time I recount. I supposedly live in a "bite" county, which means, if you have a dog that, even if your playing & your dog bites you, you have to have them put down!! My Scrappy got into a fight w/this Dad, Gator & I got caught in the middle & Scrappy really didn't even bite me, his canine tooth caught the back of my knee & sliced it open BUT they considered THAT a bite!! So, being the NICE people that they are, they at least let me be with him when he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. (I'm only smiling caz I was there in his final few minutes and not some stranger!!) I am crying again. I hand-raised my little sport from a week old caz his Mom decided she didn't want to be a Mom. He was MY little guy. He was 3 yr's and 4 mo's old when he was put down. R.I.P. ScrappyDoo!! 10/09. **Note the 2nd pic is how he slept ALL the time!! Upside down. I totally 'd that about him. He was one of the most unique (they all are unique in their own rights but he had many many qualities that made him very special, to me at least!) pups I'd ever had the pleasure of knowing. He also snored all the time. The other 3 Boxers I own sometimes will take a breath in that will result in a snore but he SNORED!! *laughs @ the memory* I will MISS, heck I think of him everyday, not once or twice BUT ALL the time. Lucy comes in a close 2nd to the antics. She learned a lot of them from her Brother (although it was from another litter, it was still same Mom & Dad).
