This is Faust. He is a Sun Conure, and my little buddy. If you're talking to me chances are he's on me, near me, or in my shirt. He's 2 years old, and I've had him since he was 4 months old.
These are the aviary parakeets Bean (white and female) and Mugen (yellow and male, half English, half American standard). They are a bonded pair. Bean has a clubbed foot and cannot walk very well, and Mugen takes excellent boyfriend-y care of her.
This is Zelkova, our lineolated parakeet. He's the newest of the flock, and is learning to talk and can say "hi" and "hello" pretty clearly, as well as "pretty bird" and a repertoire of whistles. He also laughs, especially when someone gets injured and enjoys trolling us as well as the other birds. Survival instinct: Minimal.
This is the diva of the group, Loki. He's far too intelligent for his own good and is a completely hand-tamed budie. He adores Faust, and his hobbies include being the center of attention, grooming and screaming, as well as telling everyone how great he is.
Last but not least, our finches. There's six of them; three males, three females, by the names of Hadley, Bellatrix, Antares, Gambit, Fabio and Pietra. The meeping never stops.
