I'm hoping that a notice is given a few hours before entries close. In the future it might be a good idea to give us a specific closing date/time, especially with the hexes wreaking havoc <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />

Sounds kinda fun. I kinda want to join with my current HA, but it's very simple and just silly. xDDD There are many other HAs out there that are very nicely coordinated. I wouldn't stand a chance, LOL! But I think this year I'll actually try vote. Maybe I'll finally get some inspiration for a new HA.
My costume doesn't show up on the entry screen, just the hex. I've stopped ToTing just so I can enter, but I've had this hex for hours ;_;

I hope the costumes from the epicon contest can't be resubmitted for the costume contest..... that would not be right at ALL.

Oh, wait. Do we have to have it be referencing something? Because what I'll be entering isn't based off of anything, it's just this awesome costume I came up with.
Darn....I prepared a costume but decided not to buy it because the Orange Pumpkin Dress I need is 1 mill, and now I can't bring myself to try and resist. xD I doubt I'll win, but it'll be fun to try.

I don't think there should be cosplays but I am hoping it is not all scary crap. People dress up as all sorts of stuff for halloween. I know my entry isn't going to scary at all
o_O I don't understand the big deal about dressing up as something beside a witch/ghoul, etc. People do that normally on Halloween so why is it so horrible we do it here?

ERM.....I wasn't entirely pleased with the way the last one was handled.......Are there any changes this time around? (Overall it was GREAT, but certainly needed some tweaking) Just MHO.....

Reference picture? That seems odd since this is a Morostide costume contest and at least half of Halloween costumes don't have specific characters. Most Halloween costumes I've seen are either scary like witches and monsters or movie/TV Sci Fi type characters like Star Wars and super heroes. I was just planning on making a scary costume so won't have a reference picture. Hope that's OK.

Yay finally! This Avi has been sitting in my wardrobe ever since last november waiting for this years halloween!
not sure about the reference picture though... I really did not have that much of a reference. And since it's not really a cosplay contest, but just one for dressing up I guess people might decide more by the scaryness or creativity than by how much you are looking like some reference?
But I really can't wait to see all the amazing things everyone will come up with!

do you have to wait for the hex to clear to enter or does it work with your current HA under the hex?
@fero i think people can dress up as movie or anime characters or anything in that matter. because as long as its something you would actually wear as a costume for halloween its ok.
