I did better than i thought I would. But looking at the winners absolutely amazing ideas! I thought the idea of no name with the contestant a good one. Not sure if the contest will be changed in anyway next year but still think this was fun and look forward to it next year!

I also only got 1,609th place, but I guess out of 2,791 that's okay...better than what I expected, which was last place.

Why is there such a time limit anyway? its anonymous, its not like we can weed out our friends. Why not set it up so that every entry is randomly paired with another, and let us vote on them in pairs like this year, without the time limit. I dont see the need for the restriction.

I dont think double's should be removed. As we saw with the top 10, we had two amazing Edward Scissorhands, and who's to say which one shouldve been allowed, and the other turned down? First come first served? Ok, but what if the first one is crap? Then no one else gets to enter thiers?
It's sad that people can't keep in mind this is only the second costume contest type event run on the site. Of course it's going to take tweaks and trial and error to come up with a good system of voting/displaying so many participants. That said, I thought many of the top 10 were very well done. Perhaps in the future there can be a system for weeding out doubles? Or maybe we could categorize entries and have winners from each category. I agree that there was something wrong with this contest. I've been looking through the top entries, and right up through the 40's, Id never seen any of those HAs. My own entry was way down in 1990'th place. Now I know not everyone is a Twilight Fan, but seriously, I shouldve gotten a little better than that.
That being said, Kudos to the top 10, they are incredible, especially Davy Jones. A well deserved win.

I think a different voting system might be better next time. NOT bashing the winners though, they are excellent!
Okay, not gonna lie. I just looked through about the Top 50, and there were some ones that sucked. What's up with that? I think it's because the staff changed how to vote halfway through. :I Some of the people must have been voted on at the beginning because it was either vote for the one that sucked less, or stay stuck there forever. Could have handled this better, in my opinion, staff. I hope the next time there is a costume contest that the system is changed. I think this system kind of didn't work...

Wow, so many amazing costumes! However, after looking through the top 100 entrees, I noticed there were only two that I had seen during voting... x_x I think next time there definitely needs to be a better voting method.

I'm in worse shape than most who posted here; I didn't see ANY of the top 194!!! And I only saw NINE of the top 510! I honestly preferred last contest's vote counting method.

I am like seriously impressed with so many of the entries.. I only wish I had seen them while voting.. seriously though great job.. so many epic costumes!
I seriously can't believe I got 25th, sooooo excited! I also didn't see many of the top entries, in fact I think I only saw one or two out of the top THIRTY. I did see some of the same shitty ones multiple times though which is annoying. ArtyCongrats to the top 10! I must say that I didn't see very many of the top 100 when voting... so the first 10 pages of the gallery are new to me, basically. I was also very unhappy to see how many full costume trunks cracked the top 100 though... They really got the bang for their buck. Oh well... Congrats to the Top Ten! <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" /> I think most of you deserved it. c: I got 705. I've discovered that having a ref pic definitely didn't help. No offense, but there were tons of lame costumes before mine. I decided that as a whole, after the Top 200 or so, most entries do not make sense in the order they are to me. :I I mean, I at least TRIED. Some people looked terrible. All I'm saying is that I don't understand why some people did better than me. I definitely think the staff could find a way to handle these contests better, and I hope they will. 'Cause I'll definitely be ready next year. Also, I think I'll do a Disney character or something. The stuff I've done doesn't seem to be that popular. I wish I had seen any of the Top Ten too, but sadly, I didn't... Out of the Top 10 alone, I saw THREE of the entrants. THREE. I didn't even see 7 of those entries. And once again, I was getting repeats. Why should I get repeats when there are possibly hundreds I haven't seen? I am not saying the winners aren't deserving by any stretch. They certainly are some of the best I've seen, but not my favorite (Tippi Hedren in The Birds, lol) It just seems there should be a more fair way to vote? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. I'm no programmer tho, so I have no idea what to suggest, it just seems odd.
I know I saw Bean's Davy Jones costume, I do remember voting for it. Congrats on winning! I got 1371th place, which is apparently 50% so that means 50% of subetans are familiar with Zero Punctuation! XD

Congratulations to the top ten. My only disappointment is that I didn't see but maybe one or two of you guys to vote for you. I would have voted for most of you, had I seen you, so don't let anyone's pessimism piss on your parade. You did good considering how hard it was to be viewed for voting to begin with. <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" /> It would have been nice for each of us to see every single entry at least once to vote. A lot of us kept getting repeats of the same ones but even without repeats it would have been impossible to show every single entry at least once to each of us. Think about it: there are 1,440 Minutes in a 24 hour day. You can vote every 15 minutes and if you do that around the clock you'd only get to vote 96 times per day. Times that by 2 and without repeats you'd be able to view 192 entries per 24 hour day and with 2,791 total entries it would take you 14.5364 days of around the clock voting (with no repeats) to view every entry. Considering everyone needs sleep/work/school and pee time it wasn't possible for each of us to see them all. Maybe next time we can have more entries shown per page, like in the epicon contest but instead of one, each of us gets to pick our top three out of the round up. I don't know. It was fun to see and vote for the ones that I did and I enjoyed this contest very much.
