Well this was surely surprising...nice! Carl's quest is a gamble though, hopefully the 'asleep' prizes are really worth trying for him being featured xD

"increased prizes and special rewards!" Really? The shop isn't stocking, the prices in user shops are nuts and I've gotten ONE decent item, the rest is crap. :(

Yup after doing his quests today I can say he is pretty much the same... not sure what the 'weekend quest' has done for him at all. He still randomly falls asleep giving you a better prize (so so, good, very good, or frigging awesome)... but he only did that twice out of all 40 quests.
At least with Quintin and the Computer Geek it matters the rarity of item you turn in... Carl... well... ... hope you have good luck, heh.
Still, its nice to see a different quest in rotation.

Never expected to see Carl! Guess this is the answer as to whether or not I should start doing his quests again.
I'm happy for the ones that got lucky, but for me it's just not worth it...I got better items and sP from the fair dark lady today and yesterday and the days before that *including the lovely 
I got yesterday.. and she's not even the weekend special or anything ;) see, the dark side rules ahum
Ah well, maybe i'll now get a quest archievement, thats what I actually wanted weekend quests for, to push me to do quests i never do anyway to get archievements.
I don't think the quests are really worth it for me.
I gave him a "normal" rarity item that cost me 20k and he gave me a "mundane" item and 5k. -_-

=( I think its unfair to choose a quest that requires the map to be able to do.Those map pieces are absolutely expensive! 5 mill for one piece! that's all my money.
Yep. His quests STILL suck, even with the increased rewards, and that isn't even regarding how much the items he asks for are going to hyper-inflate. And it appears that the rate of him sleeping is still stupidly low.

I think I'll wait til later today (or tomorrow, actually) and try again to see if he's any better. Did get the Sleeping Carl achievement, tho.

For the people saying that maps aren't that expensive to complete and its no big deal. One of the map pieces is over 7mil sP, so yeah not that cheep or easy. Just saying, not that Carl is worth it anyway
I don't get complaining about not having a map. The point of having a map is to get to the SPECIAL locations that you EARNED by getting one yourself. Yeah, it sucks if you're newer and can't afford a map rightnow, but it's not like any of us were magically given one either when we were newbies. If any newbies see this quest then hopefully they don't see it as them being at a disadvantage, hopefully they just see it as yet another goal for them to try and work towards. It's not like getting a map is really difficult anyway so yeah. Idgi.
I'm definitely pleased to see someone new in the Weekend Quest rotation!
I need to do some more for him anyway for a few achievement tiers- maybe I can knock a bunch out this weekend without losing quite as much as I would have!

Why is everybody complaining about not having the map? If you want to go there, get your map, lol. Like, if you don't have 750k, you can't do Saggi, or you can't go to the blue building, if you don't meet the prerequisite.
In regards to his quests being not worth it, boo hoo. Quintin quests are not worth it either but they're in rotation.

Last week we could not do the quests because of sub was down,
in the live chat Keith almost begged us to bring as much friends
as possible to sub, and now....
Now there are quests which they cannot play because they don't
have the map, or if they have it they get junk prizes?

wow his quests are still not worth it. Also im gonna hev to agree with the others, unfair for those who havent finished the map yet, but if it makes them feel any better his isnt worth it,still.
I've done 12 quests, lost over 100k sP and haven't received a prize higher than Common. I'm not sure the increased prizes are working?

Wow, I never thought I'd see this guy be the weekend quest because hes in an exclusive area. Thats not fair for the people who haven't finished their maps yet... :(
For those of you who HAVE finished the map..... go to the Gally and help Angrybeard every 2 hours; he'll give you food you can use for Drunk Carl's quests which'll save you loads of sP (Thats what I've been doing, anyways...)

So far he hasn't given me anything special or worth it, I've spent more money doing his quests and he gives me stuff that's under 500sP. Seriously?

The little notice thing says he's the weekend quest, but so far he's giving me absolute crap. (3k sP on a 30k quest. 1.5k sP on a 15k quest.)
Wow! Finally someone difficult for a change. XD. Not sure if I want to attempt his quests though, as what he asks for is fairly limited. Prices are gonna be insane.
Oh I like the idea of a new quest! But really couldve been pete :P guess it's a good idea to remind everyone to visit the galley and get your daily free food XD
