User Authentication Upgrade
Sometime in the next week we will be logging everyone out of their accounts to upgrade our user authentication. If you don't have your account information handy now (like your password!), make sure you remember it soon!

Many thanks for the warning. And, as someone who got their Neopets account hacked: I applaud any and all authentication upgrades you care to do.
Would this be just username and password, or other stuff as well? I have a habit of not giving out any personal info on the internet so odds are I used a random date as a birthday. Would that be a problem?

I got all my data safe dont worry(like dont forget my password hahahaha xD, joke). Anyway thanks Keith for the advice :)
You guys just need to know your password. We are simply giving a heads up because we know some people never log out of their accounts, and therefore might have forgotten their password.
Umm can you be more specific as to what user authentications we will need because some of us don't use that pin system.

Hmm... like @FLAKE when I download my account the file's only 20 bytes large. That doesn't seem right to me.

yes thank you for the heads up. i have question though, I may sound stupid, but by account info do you just mean pass word and name or do we have to have our user number and other things also?

A LOT of users rely on just being logged in when they get on the site and forget their passwords after months of just doing that ;)

By 'account info' do you just mean pass, email and pin? Cause if so that's alright. Just checking I'm not forgetting something. XD
