Portable monstrosities and girls named after spices roamed freely, and some infection called the Macarena swept the globe- it\'s a miracle that anyone escaped alive.

I would love to see a 70s version of the background. A few item suggestions would be a pair click clacks, an 8-track player, Donny and Marie Osmond dolls, Kiss 8-track tapes, Mystery Date board game, Sea Monkeys, Farrah Fawcett or Shaun Cassidy posters, a jar of Koogle (flavored peanut butter) or Wacky Package stickers
Oh, my heart. That background is glorious. And I can't believe there aren't more people excited over the super soaker. I remember needing my brothers to pump mine up for me because my tiny, weak little girl arms couldn't get the job done. And the male wig is definitely Leonardo DiCaprio. The first time I saw his hair I was stunned. It was the prettiest boy hair I had ever seen. It possibly still is. :P

Can I just say that I am IN LOVE with this collection! Only things it's missing from the late 90s are body glitter, JNCO jeans, gel pens, and butterfly hairclips XD

It's weird... I was there for the nineties, but at the same time I wasn't. I was just so young, so I remember some of the shows and toys, but... it all feels like it was in some past life that happened before I started really being me.
OMG, 90s. Still the most favoritest time of my life. Because I was a kid and everything was chill and cool and awesome. This collection is awesome. Ren and Stimpy, Ickis from Ahh! Real Monsters. TMNT and Spice Girls, which I still love to this day. And the background... totally my room from the 90s. XD
However, I have no idea who the hairstyles belong to... drawing a huge blank and I probably know exactly who they belong to, too.

I'm actually not much for 90s stuff but I really really like this collection, omg... and I am super glad because it's my birth month! 8D I need five things from it... usually I only get two or three items, including the monthly book. xD Anyway, really lovely artwork in this set! loving the background, so many of those items I had, I perfered pound purries (the kitty version of the dog) but some of those items I had in the 80's like the glowworm, pound puppy and my little pony ( though they carried on into the 90's ) I was born in 77 and grew up in the 80's and 90's

Also, the purple and yellow poster between the bear on the nightstand and the heart wall decal...looks suspiciously like a Triforce. Enough so that I've looked over it at least five times.

I remember the 90s. While it was a nice time growing up (yes another child of the 90s here), and had some of the best cartoons and kid shows, I'm totally not feeling this collection. The mid 90s was when I started to not pay attention to whatever was popular and got into more obscure things. I got all the references but the hair. Who's hair are both of the wigs suppose to be?

This is such an awesome theme! Ninja Turtles, Super Soaker, Ren & Stimpy... My favourite touch is the dog plush toy beside the Furby on the bed in the Shoebox background. I still have mine (which I named Sparky) even though it's been through quite a lot. When I was three I bit the nose off it (I have no idea why) and my mom had to sew a new one on. ^_^; And when I was four I accidentally dropped it on the ground in a parking lot and it got run over (twice!). I've got rid of practically all my old plush toys but I'll never get rid of Sparky. :D Thank you to the artist that drew that item!
The only thing I can think of that would have also been good in this collection is those horribly painful jelly shoes that everyone my age seemed to wear for a couple years.
