Free Gift: Sandybag Plushie

Some sandbags are a little too small to hold things down or keep water out, but they like to help in other ways - like giving you something to hold on to when you\'re scared! Hold tight, and stay safe.

Finally got my power back on after two days. x__x I live on the border of NY and PA, on the NY side, and we had a lot of downed trees and power lines but luckily no real structural damage. I hope everyone made out all right.
It never ceases to amaze me just how compassionate people on this site are,Thank you all so much

Thanks Keith :D Its nice to see sights like this notice that there are real life issues out there. I know NYC was hit hard but the Jersey shore has been all but destroyed. Here in PA we got it bad lots still without power and such We have opened our business to give people water and a place to charge their phones and such and my husband has been traveling around with our generator for 2 days to others so they can cool their fridges.

I live in Eastern CT and just got power back! Lost it on the 29th a 6:45 a night and couldn't get either generator to work (to be fair they are both ancient and pieced together from other generators/car parts)
Not as bad hit as Irene. She had us without power from one Sunday to the next Sunday and our road was blocked on both ends by tress on the powerlines.

Thanks Keith! Where I'm from in New Jersey, we didn't get it as bad as the people near the coast. My heart is out to you guys!
i think it finally passed where i live, thanks for making an item!
and a great tribute to those who passed during the storm.

Thank you for this! <3 We just got our power back on after 24 hours due to a tree coming down in front of where we live. It's still raining hard here. Keeping everyone that is still being affected by this horrible storm in my thoughts.
Thank you SO much for that cute little tribute of cuteness.
I was coming home from a Halloween party last night with my friends and we almost died a few times. We're in West Virginia where there was a foot of snow on the ground, debris and fallen trees and power lines everywhere. One town had to shut down power to save a group of people stuck in their car because live power lines fell on it. We could've had that happen or massive pine trees fall on us. We had to stop the car three times to move whole trees out of the road on mountains that (I don't exaggerate) are about this steep / <---- They closed the road only a half hour after we were off of it. It's shut down for 26 miles, and we're not even in the heavier hit areas that are south of us. O_____o

Well this is certainly a cute little tribute item...Sandy didn't do much more than knock a few branches down and rain here, I guess we got lucky considering the south shore area had a fair bit of flooding going on. Sorta makes me glad we don't live near enough to the ocean to have to deal with that.
Hope everyone's getting through it fairly unscathed.
We were watching the news and it looked absolutely horrid in New York City...anyone else see that building with it's whole side ripped off? 0.o

Luckily my neighborhood in Brooklyn was spared any damage. We never lost power, internet, or anything. Unfortunately, Midtown Manhattan is still underwater, as is my workplace, so the city isn't out of the clear yet... Here's hoping and praying, and supporting the first responders.
Thank you Subeta.
Thank you Subeta.
Thank you, Subeta, this made the horrible storm a whole lot better. I appreciate you thinking of us on the East Coast, it honestly made my whole day. Luckily I still have power but I know so many without it...prayers go out to everyone, especially those who have been affected the most.

Super cute! :D I hope everyone is alright. x_x

Aww, how kind of you Subeta!! -huggles-
Sandy seemed to spare my area of the worst, for some reason, but I pray for those who have been displaced or have no power! There's no doubt that Sandy will be retired.

Totally going to echo everyone and say this is really cute!

Thanks for this... means a whole heck of a lot. Keeping everyone, including my own family and all of yours, in my heart as things progress!

As one of those affected, I can say I came through safe. I send my hopes and wishes that the others here who were affected also came through safely. Nice tribute.

This is so incredibly sweet! ;3; The hurricane missed my area, but not by much.
Good luck to everyone still battling it out up there!
