Terracoon Revamp
What\'s that noise out by your trash cans? Could it be something that goes bump in the night? Maybe it\'s Oscar looking for his next design inspiration? (And meal) Oh, it seems like the terracoon has gone in and come out with a brand new look! Not many creatures come out so snazzy after a trashcan raid, but these terracoons have it down to a fine art.

Its really cute and in my option i like it much better but..i dont think it was really a pet in need of a revamp. I was more thinking about pets like Swampie
Due to the amount of pets/items being added to the list of creditable revamps that are not necessarily re-designed site artwork, I no longer fear for my dear Melman--the Computer Geek--and even embrace the idea of seeing this handsome spectacle get the shading, highlights, and seamless outline that will illuminate his character with no desecration of the original concept ( which is quite whimsical :heart: ).
Forasmuch, I'm glad the good artists at Subeta have gotten this down to.. an art. Hats off to you!

I like the new revamp...it really is an improvement and I love the new expression, but this just wasn't one of those pets where I thought "Wow, that could use a revamp."

Yet another beautiful revamp! Love the new facial expression, especially. The terracoon looks so wily and scrappy now, haha.
Very good update, I don't think the facial expression makes it look menacing, rather mischievous and playful, don't you think?
The quality of the art is amazing but I don't like the facial expression as well. Good revamp though! PLEASE update swampies. They need it SO badly. :)

I really never liked the terracoon in it's normal colors before because of it's lifeless face, seriously it always creeped me out. But this is much better! Also I adore how scruffy it looks now with the hair, there's a lot more attitude there! I think we have enough base pets with just normal happy expressions so this is a nice change indeed. :)
Also I really like the subtle color tweak on common, the brown/beige it had before always bothered me since it felt very yellowish. This is much better.

Eee! I have a twilight terracoon, and at first this took a min to get used to. The more Iook at him, the more I love him. So much fluffier and way more attitude. Cute, cute, cute! Beautiful job artist, and thank you staff!
The art is nicer, but I am extremely disappointed that there was no poll on this. IMO if something is more than a mere update, like bringing shading to standard, it should be polled.
Personally I think the lines are too thick, and I think the shading is a bit too much on the dramatic side, and should have been made to be a bit smoother. Some more depth and texture to the fur would have helped it a bit more, since I get somewhat of a plastic-like vibe from it. The area with the shoulders going into the arm also seems a bit too... bowed, I think is the right word? I like the tail and eyes, though.

Aww man, assign some of the older pets so they can look this nice! Seriously though, it's a good upgrade from a decent place already. A little sad they lost the Robin Williams face, but still c:

To be honest, the revamp is okay, but I don't like how angry it looks compared to the old one.

seems weird to me that the terracoon of all pets is getting yet another revamp. what's this, like the third or fourth one? i'd have thought there'd be other pets that were in much more drastic need of redrawing.
love it, the art is amazing and the upgrade was needed!!! but hugs pet Country dont change her pose!!!!!! I JUST got an overlay done LOL!!!
I ADORE THEM AAAHHHH ;o; The old one was a little bit derpy (if otherwise nice) but the new one is perfectly sly and clearly up to some trouble. Lovely update ;o;
Although I liked how cute the old one looked, I also like the new, cheekier look it has xD And it's nicer art, so I like this update :3

I do love how fuzzy and scruffy the fur looks now, but I just cannot seem to like that new facial expression. I miss the CUTE AND HAPPY expression like the last one had; this new facial expression makes it look like a jerk to me. :( Oh well.
this is kinda like the old terracoon's cooler big bro.
the anatomy feels more solid and i'm glad subeta has been modifying expressions and reducing the amount of goofy smiling pets. it kinda adds to the mature atmosphere of the website or at least further distinguishes us from neopets.
