Featured Game: Flight Simulator!
I hope you wore sunscreen over the weekend while playing those desert games, or we're going to have a lot of reddish, grouchy people around here! Hopefully the cold void of space will be enough to soothe them, because it's back to Atebus today for our featured game, Flight Simulator. You might be a generation behind, but it's not too late to test your mettle against the treacherous pirates of Atebus!
I never would have expected it, but apparently Inspector Thorpe is pretty skilled at this game. He didn't want to cooperate, but we managed to pull up his old high score of 2,000. Kick his butt to earn some bonus points, as well as some personal satisfaction!
Rack up those extra 70 points by playing your favorite combination of our previously featured games. The cosplay contest is still in full swing, so make sure to support the participants with vote or two, though you'll want to get all your votes in by Friday!

How about you make it so MORE little ships come out before you hit the end dude.
This game is pi** a** easy, but having to play it over & over again hoping you can get 1600 points before the end dude is the thing thats pi**ng me off.

Got 5,250/4,500... no achievement though, perhaps did it before it was available. You can try sending a ticket.

I love this game, including the music. I do wish however that there were difficulty levels. This is really too easy, more ships that shoot more and the big boss should be harder to beat.

I'm enjoying Epicon and I thank the staff for all the hard work they did to put this event together ^_^.
We all made it through the glitches at the beginning of the event just fine like one big happy subeta family.
I got to try games and earn achievements I wouldn't normally get to do.
I learned how to play subeku for the first time ^_^.
These site events are what I enjoy the most about the site :).
I don't post about glitches to be rude or unkind at all.
I only mentioned them in case other members were having the same problems I was.
If I came across as complaining in any of my posts I sincerely apologize to everyone :).

It's a nice game, but I hate the flat ships, when they fly too deep in the clouds, it is impossible to shoot them.

tip for everyone: you don't have to face any of the ships at all, just speed up and avoid them until you get to the boss. then, taking out the boss is nice and easy; just target its three guns. this will give you 2,900 points. enough for the bonus and you don't really have to do anything, haha.

You can just press Start Sim from on the Instructions page. And I think someone asked, but yes all the games will still be around after EPICon.

Gotta say, I am loving this event...all the games I was hoping for came back save for Mazes and Mahars (never got to play that one but it sounds epic), and we got a couple really awesome 100% new games too. =3

I was one of the people who was wishing the event were over, and had actually ended the event for myself. I wasn't playing any games because it did get boring playing every single day, but I still wished the event were over so that I could see what the prizes were. This game, however... I LOVE this game. It's made me want to participate more, so thank you for that.

When I played it I was up to 1000 points and suddenly my plane got stuck at the top...I couldn't move up or down...only left/right...and I was too high to get shot to death, so I had to quit the game and lose all my points. Poo T^T

I'm enjoying this event. I've been introduced to a lot of games I wouldn't have tried otherwise and I like the flexibility. If I don't feel like playing all the games or don't have time to, I don't. I'm also glad there's a good variety of games so getting the points isn't tedious at all. If I get bored with one I can swap it out for another or just not play it at all. Some days I choose to have the event take priority and other days I give priority to the things I usually do on the site. I like that it's gone on for so long so that I don't feel guilty about not getting all the points every day, there's been plenty of time to get them. I don't feel the need to force myself to play games I don't want to play or spend all my free time completing them. I would be happy if it went on another few weeks. :D

Ditto to that Strength! I get sick and tired of these forum dictators coming along and both complaining and attacking the users who want to voice their opinion about a like or dislike of something on this site. Or they stand their making fun of people and call them whiners and babies for voicing an opinion. They were especially bad during the poor excuse for an event we got in February that failed to continue the plot, so I guess we can' t expect any different here. :

I like Epicon and I agree with the people who say if you don't like it, don't participate in it. Saying "I wish it was over" isn't constructive criticism... If you wish it was over it can be over for you! That's the beauty of the events. If I were working for Subeta I'd be ready to throw my hands up and say "well screw you all" because no matter what they do people just gripe, gripe, gripe.
And yes, I have the freedom to express my disdain towards those who just want to complain for the sake of complaining just as they have to freedom to complain.

Augh. I think I've earned less points this year than I did last year... T_T Was a RS war really out of the question? Playing these games on top of the dailies we already have to do has made this event more of a chore than a blessing. I don't think it wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have to play them so many times every day and if they were totally new. There are about three I enjoy playing every day but the rest? Not to much.

I'm sure our constructive feedback is appreciated and I just have to say that I don't like this event at all,
maybe because I don't like to play games that much but there is so much to do EVERY SINGLE DAY.
The same games over and over again.
This event would be nice if it lasted for a week or so, I'm not entertained or excited any more, just bored...
Of course we are not forced to play the games and participate in this event,
but we all the points and shiny prices don't we? ;)

How about the people complaining about the event still going on just don't do it? Nobody's making you participate. If you don't like the games, don't play the games... pretty simple. Sorry but I'm really tired of so many people complaining about everything, especially when you do have the option to not do it.

Just a tip: You don't actually have to hit all of the ships. Just try to get to the very end without getting hit and shoot the cannons off the last ship. You get like 2500 point just for killing that one so you don't actually have to hit any of the smaller ships.

Pressing enter once does nothing.
I had to press it 2-3 times to get the game to submit a score once.
It's very hard to keep up with Epicon here, a weekly battle competition at mara and Daily Dare at neo.
Plus find time to sleep, run errands, go to doctor appointments (recovering from surgery on my left leg)
and other stuff that needs done :).
All these events going on at the same time and I enjoy every minute of it XD.

My strategy: just keep hitting space bar and moving up and down, and your stray bullets will usually take out the enemies without you having to get in their line of fire.

PS, the pirates can fly lower than we can, so that really narrow one is sometimes impossible to hit
