@Nancyblack , they refunded them a virtually generated 500csc while users spent most likely a real $5 fee.

That's awesome! Not planning on buying any CSC for it, but I'm glad the price is changed! The original was much too expensive.
@odduckOasis: I read them before I posted, but I was still unclear as to how many changes from official Subeta art needed to be made. "You must make at least four changes from your original source material if it's not official Subeta art" but would one change from official Subeta art be sufficient? I'd love to replace one of my pets with an overlay of pre-revamp art but I'm not much of a digital artist and I'm not sure how much it needs to be changed to acceptable, and this seemed like as good a place to ask as any. :-)

When you go to the pet overlay page, click on where it links 'upload' and it'll show you all the rules regarding uploading custom overlays. =)

Yes because now you get to keep the extra money the users gave you while they get the generated 500 csc back... Really should've been 500 in the first place.

I have a question and this seems like as good a place as any: How much do you need to change official Subeta art for it to be acceptable for this? Is recoloring sufficient? What about old versions of pets that have been revamped, how much do those need to be changed to be OK?

Why would I want some overlay to hide the natural beauty of my pets? If they needed overlays then that means they weren't done well enough in the first place.
haha now I know what I'm going to draw after I finish my current commissions :D much more affordable price, even though 1k csc was okay to begin with.
What about people who already paid for one?! I paid 3000 CSC in the past week or so for 3 overlays!

YAY! This I can totally support. The price just seemed so high to me when it was first introduced... I'm glad Subeta listened to its users, because I'm going to use this as soon as I possibly can! Thanks Subeta!

I think this is great. I wouldn't have cared to do it for the original price but now it's a consideration :).

NoirRaven - I don't think any of the users who supported us before the price change are ticked - we've refunded them all the difference :)
Oh yay. I still need to think of cooler overlays for half my pets....How do I make Prince Levalas and King Thravalas look more....royal?
oh yay! This gives me an advantage of getting a personal custom overlay, one that I found or drew for myself instead of commissioning an artist here to draw or recolor or add things to my pet. Thanks for lowering the price!
Still think this feature is silly but it's nice to see it more reasonably priced now... Tho if I were one of the users who paid the previous price, I'd be ticked. D:

Thank you! :D This is a more reasonable price for me and I think i'll consider it now since I had a lot of fun in the testing with this feature.
This sounds much more reasonable, thanks for lowering the price. I'm still not sure if I'll use this feature myself since I already use my pet overlays where I want for free.
