CS Retirements, Good News about the Masquerade Shops!
The bad news? All of the Fashion Week sets, Fringe Magazine Summer 2013 Edition, Fringe Magazine Fall 2013 Edition, and Vanity Third Edition have been retired from the cash shop. Oh no :(
The good news? The Steamworks Menagerie, Libertine Lounge, and Migrating Masks have recruited the staff to stay open year-round as usual. Hooray!

Meh, I was really liking the idea of the shops closing at the end of the event (as well as other event/specialty shops), but I guess I am not in the majority there. Then again, I would LOVE to see the items retire at the end of the year as well, and obviously that's not a popular option. (Both of these assuming there would be some notice given before hand).
thanks for listening and reversing the decision. i like to check out the shops year-round so it's nice to hear that they will still be open in order for me to do so. :)
Yesss I love stalking the mask shop to grab rare ones and gift them, so this makes me so happy.

I am glad they are staying open since I work so much and doing have alot of time usually during the week when I work to get online.
Think it makes more sense to just close all the shops rather than bow to pressure to keep these open. I had assumed this was another move by the staff to make items legitimately worth more and would have affected all events from here on out, but I guess we'll never know now.
Yes, the 2011 items will still retire in two weeks, so make sure to grab those while you can :)
That is good news for the shops! Now, just remember to post in the news when you will be retiring anything from them. A little upset about that as I still needed many of the 2009/2010 items.
I'm not even sure if I have the third editions but if I don't oh ell too late lol but excellent news on the shop! Gift givers rejoice!
I wasn't that worried about the shops being seasonal but I'm quite glad it's staying open anyway :)

This might just be my favorite news post of the year just because of the Masquerade shop postings.
Idk what the point of them being closed was supposed to be. None of the other holiday shops close that I've ever noticed - Vesnali, Louis's, etc. But I'm happy they'll remain open. Thanks, staff. :)
