UnicornVomit OhCasual and Lililace Teknikolor are the latest retired Subeautique sets to receive a revamp! While they might not restock anymore, you can still get them from Gift of Fashion Past.
Retirement Warning: Subeautique will be retiring two to three of their oldest lines on June the 25th!

I think the wig was revamped beautifully. It could use a bit more shine instead of soft highlights, but looking at it side-by-side with the old wig it really is basically the same, only it actually looks like hair. Hair is soft, guys, unless it's gelled!
I'm not a fan of the Teknikolor wig, I feel it has completely lost its original feel and style. it's not blunt and smooth anymore. I really like sleek "modern" hairstyles for certain outfits, and now it's gone. Disappointing...
The Teknikolor wig WAS perfect. One of the few old old items that truly stood the test of time. I don't care for the new wig, but it would be fine as a new item, it just lost the idea of the old one. Please make the change on the wig optional? Please?
I really like the revamps, except for the wig. The wig looks really scruffy and doesn't match the clean lines of the set at ALL. It needs to be redone.
The changes to the Teknikolor wig are disappointing. Instead of looking sleek and angular, it now looks very casual and quickly thrown back. The ponytail is too loose and heavy, pulling the whole style down and over, and the hair at the scalp is too "big." The bangs are also a HUGE change to the wig's style. Instead of a blunt straight bang, they're piecey and limp. The colors have also changed quite a bit; too much highlighting on what was once a nice true-black hairstyle. I really hope they undo this revamp! OhCasual looks great, and so does most of Teknikolor; love the updated sheers.

(this is not in any way a serious complaint, revamps look awesome, just won't be able to use that wig for what I usually use it for anymore lol)

I'm really hating the new shading on the neon blue and green items. Subeta needs to brighten it's pallet, not darken and dull it with overshading. e_e
Can't really complain about the new shading for the most part, as usual. I did like the shape of the old wig more, though.
The new Teknikolor wig looks like something I won't be wearing ever again. Not sure what was wrong with the old one.
The UnicornVomit set is real nice. Love the sneakers now. Might buy a pair myself. The Teknikolor wig is not too bad, and it doesn't put me off just like with everyone else.
While I don't necessarily dislike the new one, I will miss the edginess of the old wig. :( Also not really sure how I feel about the under shirt, it's very wrinkly imo.
i'm not really one to complain about revamps too much but i gotta side with everyone in that the old wig was just better-looking.. the new one looks like the old one hasn't washed since it was released, and got a bad haircut in the meantime :I
I have to agree about the older version of the wig being better, unfortunately. This one has too jagged edges and has less volume to it. I honestly prefer the older one. The other items came out pretty nice though.
Those aren't really blunt cut bangs in the true sense. Blunt bangs are pretty literally cut straight across and the new bangs are... More like an accident than a blunt cut. They're soft and spindly, losing that blunted edge and making them more... Well, not blunt cut but like any elementary school's kld's bad haircut from their mother!

I thought the think that Worked about Teknicolor was that it was clunky and edgy with that fully poofy thing on top like a cherry. So many clothes that had come out before were all soft and form fitting.

I like the new revamps of everything, except the wig. I loved the fullness and the shape of it. The shape and ... texture of it, just not my style. Hopefully, it'll get changed to something closer to how it looked before.
What? No.... that was one of my favorite wigs... it was so ... big and now... bleh... it looks greasy and all fudge-cutted. If that were a thing. sigh The undershirt is much better. I always wanted to use it... but it never fit quite right, the new version is lovely. The unicorn set looks 100% better, lovely shading.
all of the clothes look fantastic. i love the unicorn stuff on the top, and everything but the crinkled undershirt looks great.

god yes, I love the Teknikolor clothing revamps to death. now the few pieces I have are usable again <3 ESPECIALLY the skirt and shoes!!

I'm gonna need to join the people saying I liked the old one more. for a useful critique: I think it's the flatness of the ponytail's top compared to the old one, and how pillow-y the shading looks that's turning me off. the shading style works on the clothes, but sleek black hair usually has strong shines to it. I do prefer the new bangs to the old ones though, they're blunt but more realistic about it, seeing more of the avatar's eyes is a plus for me.

ugh, the wig is so disappointing :( I remember spending days when it came out trying to save for it and find it, I spend nearly 10mil on it but i loved it so much :( sadface subeta, sadface.
I love everything except the wig.. I prefer the older Teknikolor Wig than the new one. It looks so shaggy and greasy.. very disappointed and grossed out. It just looks dirty xD
The wig is overall better but I agree ttat it looks greasy or wet. I think this is mainy because of the bottom of the bangs.
Some of these revamps look great, like the OhCasual shirt and the Teknikolor skirt. Not a fan of the wig, it looks greasy.

The old wig looked chic and heavily moussed . the revamp is much softer , freshly conditioned and styled in a hurry look . n So i am wondering if the Luxe belt solution could be implemented here and have couple of breakable hairdos in the new techni wig style (bangs and ponytail seperate , ci could be like

I think the UnicornVomit shoes, the HA's left one, to be a bit awkward looking. I know the feet/cankles look bad enough but that shoe looks like the HA has a broken cankle or they're standing weirdly on the side of their foot. I'm thinking it's the fabric tied on the leg giving that look as the shoe looks to be flat on the ground.

The wig looks pretty, but pretty much ruined how it used to look. Old one looked cool and high fashion now it looks like some girl in school.
Huh, looking at the before and after pics of the Technicolor wig it doesn't seem that bad. Maybe it looks out of place to have the updated hairstyle look so soft and loosely tied up when the clothing line is so geometric. I guess if the hair before the ponytail was to look like it was brushed and tightly pulled back that would fix a lot of the concerns.
The teknikolor revamp looks amazing, however I'm not in favor of the wig being revamped. I loved the original. :/

As much as I love the UnicornVomit revamp, I really don't like the Lililace Teknicolor one. While the shading is really nice now, I hate how nothing is clean-cut and oriented towards shape and looking 'soft'. The wig, like others, has me really upset. I also really l don't like how rumpled the under-shirt looks, as it and the hair were my two favorite items from the set and I !loved! how clean and smooth they were. I'm probably going to sell it, now. I like how dark they are, but.. Agh.

The Teknikolor wig looks greasy, and the whole angular, straight look was kinda ruined. I'm here for the rest of the revamps tho.
The wig doesn't seem to fit the line anymore, since the whole theme of the line was geometric shapes.
That used to be a wig I loved a lot... glad I sold it and have no use for it anymore because the reason it was so unique (the bangs) was destroyed |D; I mean it's still a nice wig, but it's not the wig people paid millions for that's for sure.
Anyways, when are those "~limited edition~" Grimdark and Grease Monkey sets retiring? I know they're new, but weren't they supposed to be around for a very limited time? 4 months doesn't seem very limited.

Everything looks so much more wearable now! But, like a lot of others, I'm sad about the Teknikolor wig. The new one is really nice, I just adored the old one as it was.
Also as much as I prefer the new wig being like actual hair and not just a blob of black, I do agree changing the shape so much is a bit odd. The shading is so much more noticeable now though. But I can see why fans of it would be upset. Even if I didnt care for it in the first place xD
Dangit, totally forgot about the teknikolor items. I wish I had bought them when I got all my other retired subq items :/ I freaking love the revamp. Especially the socks, but none are for sale. And greedy people bought up the cheaper items from the line and have 5-10 for sale at a much higher cost -sigh- I guess maybe Ill get lucky and find them someday.
I am pretty distraught over the teknikolor wig revamp, I loved the dead-straight bangs/geometric style. It was my fav wig and I dished out a lot to get it when it was first released D: Not a big fan of the asian-after-shower look of the revamp :(

i dont even remember the unicorn vomit line, lol. i like the revamps. the new technicolor skirt is really nice, and looks more like stiff fabric rather than pieces of plastic or paper.

Totally agree with many others here - I really like all of the changes, except the Teknikolor wig. I am terrified that there are going to be more changes like this to some of my favorite pieces, when I don't think they need to be revamped.
i'm not a fan of the bangs. wish they weren't so choppy. i liked the sleek angled side bangs and straight bangs and it worked with the geometrical clothing.
I'm deeply disappointed by how the Lililace wig was revamped, but the rest looks great :)

Personally I really like the new wig... I prefer messy looking hair. It's something I can actually see myself using now.
Highly disappointed by the Teknikolor wig.. the art quality looks really grainy (and it could do with being a touch darker) :( It didn't need to be revamped at all. The rest of the set is nice though. And I am pretty excited to be able to wear the barfing unicorn shirt woo hoo!
The clothes look much better! Pity about the wig though - now it looks all messy and badly cut. :C

Subeta, please, please, please properly revamp the Lililace Teknikolor Blackest Black Wig! It used to look sharp, edgy and structured, now it just looks manky, greasy and disgusting!

The sets retiring are the oldest still restocking. I didn't want to put names because I don't know if we will be retiring two sets or three yet. :)
Gonna miss the old Teknikolor wig, but I'm super happy with the new undershirt. Another one of my favorite items, and I'm glad to see it looking better than ever.
