Subeta Birthday Cake Contest!
Have you entered the Subeta Birthday Cake Contest yet?
Remember:
- Your cake must be edible and Subeta-themed. We\'re sure you have a ton of other creative resources, but we\'re hungry and want to see some real cakes!
- You can use small non edible decorations like candles, but we wouldn\'t want to be slowed down too much if we were going to eat these cakes ourselves.
- Include a description (500 characters or fewer) that you would want to be used for the on-site item should your cake win.
- Have fun!
You only have until August 31st at end of day to enter! We\'ve increased the CSC for our top 3 winners--they\'ll now get 2500 CSC as well as a copy of their item!

Can the cake be made out of cupcakes? Or even just a couple of cupcakes? Or does it have to be a full sized cake?

Oh man, I was really looking forward to this..However because of miscommunication at work I won't start until three days after the 31st. I was hoping to have the money to do this...maybe next tenth anniversary.

This is great, but how about something ALL players can participate in? Not related to a specific talent like baking, drawing, sewing, olive throwing or such...'Cos it's not enough we don't have them talents, we really feel left out!

I'm going to make SOMETHING cheesecake related, but it probably won't be as fantastic as other ones...hopefully the staffers are cheesecake fanatics and I'll with them over with that :D

I submitted mine last night but.. I really need more practice with things like that. XD; I hope it's okay that we use the little comment box for more than just the description. The lighting is so terrible in my house and we were only allowed one pic so I was afraid that some of the details were lost.

@Virus For me it would be like the opposite. I would make the cake (cake mix style) and then end up eating it before it got completed. Haha. I'd eat your cake though in the previous post someone said they're gonna donate their cake to a homeless shelter, so that's always an option so the cake doesn't go bad and get thrown out.

Amazing prize, very generous of the site. Such a shame though.... I could make a cake but no one would eat it and it would just go to waste so no chance of entering this lovely contest. Good luck to all those who /do/ enter. :D

BTW I hope it is more about the idea/concept of the cake then about the perfection. I think it counts when you can clearly see someone spended a lot of afford and time into a great concept cake :heart:

I actually thought about doing this, since in the past I made a nuclear cake for my birthday (I have an obsession with nuclear/toxic things) and since nuclear is a pet color I thought about re-doing it but adding the style more like the subeta pet theme. Sadly I just dont have the time :(

@LuckBurnside I believe the item will be released as a cash shop item or restockable and everyone else has to pay for it whereas the winner will get a free copy of it. I don't think they would ever make something that exclusive because then that would mean only one of the item on the site.

All winners get the item for free while everyone else has to pay for it. :/ If you feel guilty, I'm sure you can give your copy away.

I can make a cake-mix cake and decorate it but I feel like that wouldn't exactly qualify so I don't think it's worth for me to try. Especially when I'm sure Subeta has some great bakers and decorators.

"as well as a copy of their item! " Does that mean for free and everyone else has to pay for it or do the winners only get the cake item and no one else? Because I'm not sure how to feel about a food item that's that exclusive :(
