Such a beautiful tribute item. ;w; Rest In Peace, Sir Terry Pratchett. </3 My bookshelf and my life was made immensely better by the addition of your work.

HOLY SHIT I SAW SOME INCREASED DISCWORLD POSTS BUT HAD NO IDEA D:
News app failed me
FUCK I need to commit to reading those now more than ever. I've always wanted to but never really knew where to start.

So pretty - thank you! And thank you to Mr.Pratchett for so many wonderful stories. Your intelligence and heart will be greatly missed.

I'm on my cell so I can't see the hover or description but in general this is appropriate in my life right now.

My father is a big Terry Pratchett fan, and we've got a lot of books at home! I knew this free item would be a tribute to him! And the background it gives it just beautiful! :)
RIP Terry Pratchett

I loved his sense of humour, and I actually only read his books because my Mum had them. I was surprised to hear about his death because I don't think he was that old (60's, maybe?) and I thought that what he had couldn't kill you, it just made you lose your memory. I heard he wasn't in the middle of writing a book when it happened so I suppose that's good. I think my Mum must be really affected by it, though. I'm glad Subeta does these items not just for actors and musicians but also writers as well.
I absolutely love this. Thank you so much! Terry Pratchett's works have been part of my childhood (my parents are huge fans) and also my adult life and I really appreciate this tribute!

A truly fitting tribute.
Farewell, Sir Pratchett, and thank you for the truly wonderful worlds you created.

I was wondering what the tribute item would be - an hourglass is perfect.
You will be missed, Sir Terry Pratchett. Rest in peace.

Terry Pratchett is definitely one of my favourite authors.
It is a terrible loss to the world now that he is gone.
I suppose there is comfort to know that, with his health problems over the years, at least the pain is over. Finally he is free, and he can join all the other legends that we've lost in the last year in that better place.

Easily my favorite author. Possibly the only time I've cried when hearing a famous person died. Perfect tribute too.
i heard about this earlier so i knew exactly who this was for; despite having never read a lot of his work, i always saw his books around and have always meant to get into them so in a way they were sorta present throughout my childhood anyway? if that makes sense? so yeah, to hear about his passing was very very sad.
also a beautiful, lovely item, thanks subeta. c:

Rest in peace, Terry Prattchett.
I'd read all of his Discworld books and always found it rather...admirable...in a way, how he just continued to write despite his ailing physical and mental health. Thank you for this item, Subeta.
For those of you who do not get the reference...the Dark Desert is a place referenced in several of Prattchett's Discworld books. It is where many souls go after they die and they have to traverse it, alone, to get to their desired afterlife.
Also, there were the final, posthumous tweets on Prattchett's Twitter account, which announced his demise:
"AT LAST, SIR TERRY, WE MUST WALK TOGETHER."
"Terry took Death's arm and followed him through the doors and on to the black desert under the endless night."
"The End."
