Dara's Darlings
After several weeks of preparation and minion readying, Dara’s Darlings is now open in Shengui Guo’s floating market! Dara is very particular about his minions, and is much happier to part with them if they really bond to a potential new owner. Visit his boat today to see which minions he has for adoption.
Dara won’t always have the same minions in stock, and they’re likely to change each day as he doesn’t like to stress them out by keeping them all in the boat at once for days on end! So make sure to keep checking back each day to see which minions he’s brought with him, or continue bonding with minions that you’ve already met!
Note: Bonding with a minion will make it cheaper in price, as Dara is happier to see his minions go with somebody who has bonded with them. You will need to check back every day until you have bonded fully with the minion or it will forget you!

Oh and I haven't seen one yet that you can just buy, whenever I go there they ALL say to bond. So no way to tell if I give up on this one (it's been 4 days) whether the next one I choose will also need a week to bond. Grrr. :(
Also the alerts don't seem to be working, every time I go there I "set alert" but I never get one. :(

It's not hard to tell which ones are 'special' since those require bonding before you can buy them. The others you can instantly buy at 50k. The 'special' minions will have a note when picked for bonding that they're as of yet too scared of you. So you have to come back again the next day (the the days after XD). Not too hard to figure out.. ^^
@Amber Yes I saw that, but didn't know the minion I chose was one of those. It would be nice if they were marked or something. I would have picked a different one if I'd known.

@StarShadow Which minion are you bonding with? Only a few special minions make you wait. You can outright buy most of them for 50k (unless you bond with them for cheaper prices). The special ones make you bond for a few days, that’s just how it is. :)
I don't understand how so many people already have these, I've been "bonding" for 2 days and he just keeps saying to come back. How did others get theirs right away? Don't like this being told to wait over and over.

I bought the fox right away at 50K, but now I'm bonding with a lunar rabbit, because I want Dara to love me...., seriously..., i need to get a life. The Baku is so cute though, how can I wait?!!! Love the bonding adoption system though.

@Speiro For me the 200KsP price that the hover said it was officially worth wouldn't have stopped me from outright purchasing a minion there, I have a big shop and gotta spend that sP somewhere. NPC Dara just didn't let me buy it outright. So I get you about the 50K thing.
If the totally-bonded price is low enough, then there's reselling profit. While this profit may not be so great especially for a one-at-a-time deal, folks do do the Item Hunt. Also users might do it even if it's not required because it's fun and fills in the stories for their virtual pet?

The bonding idea is super cute and I love the minions and their stories, like the Lunar Rabbit! Not a minion collector but I may have to start.

Continuing to bond for a lower price on a 50k minion seems silly though. You can pay for that by doing one quest. Is there really a reason to continue bonding in that case?

Neopets created Asian inspired lands, Flight Rising created the concept of bonding. Get with the program !

@Wolf_Spirit It won’t be available on the bottom row where the three minions are listed, but it will stay at the top as the minion you are bonding with. :)
Are people seriously complaining about thee bonding being similar to Flight Rising's familiar bonding? Bonding with a pet isn't an original concept, guys.
I am happy to do the bonding ritual because it's freaking adorable, but where is the option to buy? I know it said some would only be able to be purchased after bonding, but I don't have the option to buy any of them. Come on, Dara, gimme that bunny. D:

I was able to take home a Kaefox and a Lunar Rabbit for 50k but the Xingyun demands some more bonding. Interesting. :D
and by that I mean I bonded with the Lunar Rabbit today, I bought the Lunar Rabbit today, now I can suddenly bond with another minion without having to wait a day.
Quick question... should I be able to bond with another familiar in the same day after I bought one because apparently I can?

I love the concept but 50K is really affordable, now if it was 5 mil or 50 mil I would put more effort into bonding with the minion I want.

@Evy The minion you are bonding with won't move from the top! For example, I'm bonding with Lunar Rabbit right now. Tomorrow, there will be three new minions but my Lunar Rabbit will be at the top still for me to bond with more. :) That way in say two days, I like another minion more I can replace the Lunar Rabbit if I want to!
