Trees!
The Luminaire Trees are officially out! You can now decorate your tree with up to 50 ornaments from the Old Box of Ornaments.
You’re also able to leave gifts under your friend’s trees now!

Just got home from work so haven't had time to set my tree up yet, but was wondering if there will be new ornaments again this year to come out of the old box?
Ehhh!! Thank you so much! I have been waiting to set mine all up! Well I did it last night be it seems like something went wrong and had to redue it. But I had my tree is a different window so all I had to do was click save tree again ahahah.

Well poop, I spent a hour or two making my tree. Now its lost. Glad I screened it lol.

But...why did they got deleted? I worked on it hours till I got it to work and look as I wanted...crap!
Awesome, decorating the tree is so fun! It was difficult to pick a tree, but in the end I went with a traditional one. I'll probably change it later once I've gotten more ornaments from Melody ^^
Thankfully, 3 of the cat decorations sort of a little bit resemble my RL cats, so they're already making some mischief in my tree.

I decorated 2 days ago! It was sluggish as poo and took 3 tries and now I have to do it all over again ;_;

No problem, first luminaire is the most exciting one. :)
You won't get notifications, but you can see the progress on the number of things under your tree. And after 12 or something gifts, the packages will be "full" under your tree, but you will still be able to get more gifts, you just won't see it change anymore on your tree after that. They will all open on the 25th, usually the site gets taken down for a few minutes in order to process it, and then you'll be able to see all your gifts and who sent them to you.

@shadowstalker2013 - if you visit Melody's Cottage again, she will sell you a box of ornaments for 2,000 sP. You can do this every 10 minutes. Go to your inventory and open the box. You get random ornaments :)
@shadowstalker2013 If you go to Melody's Cottage after you've collected your daily items, you can donate 2000sp to get a box of ornaments. :)
where can i buy ornaments? I'd hate to think i could only get them through trades or user shops

You can see on your profile there's a gift already under your tree (the green one). If more people send you things, you will see more packages under your tree. On the 25th, they will open and appear in your inventory.

@Lionleaps I haven't gotten a gift yet so I can't say for sure, but I would think if you click the Luminaire Tree link above it would let you open your gift from there. Did you receive a notification about the gift? That might include a link if there is one.
Will they be showing up behind our avatars again? Or was that cancelled last year, I can't remember that now.
Will we be able to access/remove ornaments from our collection off-season at some point? There was one I wanted to pull out earlier this year for some reason, but it was blocked off. Now if only I could remember what it was and why... x)

i was hoping for a shengui gui tree! ah well! maybe that'll be added in the future (or i'm blind and it's already there XD )

I completely understand, I love this new layout in the tree page. I liked my old tree so much so I'm a bit mad but I'll choose a new one and decorate it all over again, it will be fun. Thank you for the attention!

@kin We usually release them midway through the month / didn't make an announcement and they weren't really linked anywhere :/ Sorry but we needed to change the technology they used because the page sucked before.
