I have read the description of this book and now I think I'm gonna cry...
Alan Rickman was a real talent, a great actor, an incredible man.
My favourite actor, who brought one of my favourite character into life.
All I can say now is no more than the words of Dumbledore: "After all, to the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure." and that Alan Rickman will be my favourite, always...
May He Rest in Peace.

I don't know if anyone will see this but...
If you're interested Mugglenet will be hosting a tribute of their own to Alan on January 29th, at 6pm eastern time (subeta time) at the Wizarding World in Universal in Florida. They will be broadcasting the event via Periscope for those who can't be there in person. They'll be posting a link to the FB event page before it starts. It also looks like they're looking in a FB Live viewing for those that can't use Periscope.

We also lost Brian Bedford, the voice of Robin Hood in the Disney animated feature.

Thank you guys...you always do such a lovely job with these tribute items.
As wonderful as they are, though...I hope there isn't a need for more any time soon. :( I really hope this year is only getting the worst stuff over with at the very start, I don't think any of us could take much more if the year is going to be more of this.

...heard this morning literally the minute I woke up. He was my absolute favorite actor so tomorrow will be spent adding Alan Rickman films in with the past few days worth of Bowie binging.
Can't even process that he passed not only the same week as Bowie but at the same age and of the same general cause if what I read is right. To Amazon to rebuy Sense and Sensibility and possibly a copy of Mesmer.

Hearth broken by this year start. I'm not familiar with David Bowie and the one in a rock band, but still sad. But now Rickman and Nagelil today… that was a shock!

i live under a rockin a cave, and i found out about his passing from instagram -_- i thought it's a weird stupid joke.
i can't believe 2 loved actors were taken at the beginning of this year. both aged 69, and both lost the fight with cancer.. T-T
I loved him in Dogma. his scenes were the only reason i watched that movie several times, lol.
His part in harry potter was pretty amazing ...

My all time favorite actor. I couldn't believe it when I heard it on the radio this morning. I went all over hoping it was a hoax.
He was an amazing actor and a wonderful selfless person. What a loss. The world was a little less bright today.
Thank you for the wonderful tribute.

Thank you for making this tribute. This has really hit me hard.
I guess I've had the good fortune that I've never before lived through the death of a celebrity that I was so attached to, and it's an awful feeling. It still barely feels real. :'(

I'm so glad this isn't super pro snape. Very tasteful, and doesn't reduce Rickman to one single one.

To me, he will always be Colonel Brandon and the distant husband in Love Actually. Alan, you are going to be terribly missed.

Still not over the death of David Bowie, then Alan Rickman goes. Will always truly remember his beautiful reading of sonnets.
