ah of course, another type of zodiak set. woo.. no real delish for another year ;-;
This is a little more cluttered than the non-zodiak lines of Delish used to be. What happened to the subtle couture lines?
I don't think I've ever seen a boutique background item before! It's beautiful, and the little rat is adorable. Not the right shade of green on most of the items to work well for me, but that background is a must own.
Beautiful individual items in a very busy set. It's always a pleasure looking at these ethereal oriental-inspired wearables.
I assumed that the past Delish sets had been extremely busy because that way it offers a huge amount of individual pieces, that look nice on their own or paired with one/two other pieces from the same line, or their couple's. It kinda makes sense, as you rarely see people wearing the entire Delish sets, many want to create their own unique avatars with all sorts of previously existing items. Nothing wrong with wearing the entire set though.
It's kind of a two-edged sword, as you sacrifice the entire composition so you can deliver diverse individual pieces, kinda like retail. I don't have a position on whether that's good or bad from a creative standpoint, the sets have been pleasing me but that's just an individual's taste.
On another note, excited to see the unveil of the Chinese Zodiac sets! :)

What I love is the COLOUR that's coming to these sets!!!! The dull browns/greys were really getting...well...dull XD
I really love this set. The female version more in particular. The eyes, blush, that hair! Wonderful set. Really love it. Andthat whole mouse thing everyone is talking about. I can totally see it. The "tail" and "ears" so cute.

I'm not much into wearables. Yet I have to agree, that lip gloss stood out for me immediately!

The staff has yet to confirm it as the Chinese Zodiac, though also with it being February still and this being released right after the first Zodiac sets wrapped, it makes sense.

Does nothing for me, except maybe the lip gloss. The little mouse/rat is cute, too, just the set looks too busy.

The Delish Nimble Elixir is so gorgeous. O: The whole Nible set is really nice, but that hairrrrrrrrrrrr.
What is with the "masculine" Delish hairstyles? They look so dumb on their own. I don't want to buy a whole clothing set just to make my hair look normal. >:/

Followup/Edit: Oop, I guess Rat is considered the 'first' (though by what measure, I could not find). So following that order is cool. It doesn't really matter either way, I just guess that a system based on time following said time makes sense to me, lol. Either Lunar (month) signs or Years in order of current > upcoming. But again, not really a big deal either way.
Hyped for year of the Dragon, and year of the Tiger (Tiger is my moon).
Curious why we started with Rat, rather than Monkey (obviously they'll have to go quicker than 1/yr, but still). This year is FIRE Monkey! Missed opportunity y/y. Also why Rat is green.. it's often listed as a 'favorite' color but it's tech a water sign. Most recent rat was Earth, but upcoming is Metal! Again, coulda been awesome.
P.s. Astrology is just fun for me, so hopefully I didn't grievously insult or misrepresent it.
And finally, on an only tangentially related note: I want to see a minimalist Delish set, lol. I know it's not really the 'aesthetic', and there is the whole value consideration as well, but I still think it could be gorgeous without being so busy, and I'd be curious to see it pulled off.
Perhaps a future theme can be art styles/movements? Impressionist Delish would be beautiful, and it'd be a neat chance to see minimal on purpose c:

I really like the mouse, background, and female lip gloss. I think the pieces as individuals all have potential. But to pile them all on two avatars.....not so great. Why not have three avatars to show off the pieces better? Way too much going on here.
