Galactic Tigrean Revamp!
The galactic tigrean has been revamped! You may not be able to hear this big kitty roar in space, but you should still keep away from those glistening teeth!
Visit the Coda Caves today and tomorrow to collect gems, which you can then take to Iltallo in order to bless your pet with the galactic color.

The new one is more realistic but I love the old one better just because it's cartoon-y and cute. I have a Galactic Tigrean. ^^

i love the tigrean its my favorite species, but for some reason i am just not fond of this new look, not trying to be a debbie downer but thats just my opinion, theres just something about the face and the paws that seems off to me...

To be honest, I prefer the original version this time. I just loved the head and face on the old one. I loved the tufts of hair on top of its head and the eyes. This one is just "ehhh" to me. Just my two cents. :/ On a more positive note, the galactic markings on the new version are amazing.

I hope the Glacier tigrean won't get this new look cus then I have to abandon him what's so sad >< I always adored his majestic look but this new "I am a wild cat and I wanna eat you" look is so much not my thing.

I like that it looks more like the revamp overall, but there are some issues with it that are just weird like a few have said. I don't like how you're doing paws lately, only because you're making them so flat, like there's no curve where there should be a curve. The perspective is nice tho, but the head is sitting oddly- like it's leaned up too much for the angle the cat is arched at.
Overall, pretty nice, always love the markings. But, it's not like it really matters if you get critiqued or not... you won't make any changes. Still, looking forward to more redos, they're fun to see. =) (Esp if it's from the same original artist, that'd be pretty neat to see that kind of growth =)).

Lovely! I like everything except the white sclera extending into the tear-duct area. Now if we could only get a revamp of the Galactic Archan so the poor thing doesn't look like it's suffering a migraine!

@Wolf_Spirit Ah good point. Didn't think to do that because I never use overlays on here. Thanks for the advice. Just have to learn how which I can probably find somewhere.
Also not saying it's a bad revamp as yes it provides more detail just stating my preferences like everyone else is all.

I love this revamp!! The markings look so much nicer, I really love the shading on them and the pattern on the tail, especially. I love the subtle fur texture and the shading/highlighting (as always hahaha), and I never really realized how much I appreciate the new tigrean no longer having that headfluff until I saw this. It looks a lot less childish (or, teenagerish?) this way! Love the raised paw too.

I think the shape of the face is what is throwing me off. It does look a lot more like a tiger now though. But I think I like the old one a little better IMO.

I like everything about it but the face...it sounds silly to say too cartoony because, I mean, what else would it be but I don't know how else to describe it.

Hmm... not sure if I like it. Love the details and the realism, but now it lacks energy and dynamism and looks like a wiser yet tired old guy. Also huge paws!

Eek, good thing I don't care about Tigreans 'cuz the old one's way better. DX The face was better -- this new guy's face makes him look like someone's idiot henchman. (Derrrr yes boss, you want I should give 'im the ole one two, duuuh, one two five??) The pose was better -- now his butt looks like he's squatting against that galactic mist stuff, about to pounce OFF of it. And definitely the markings were better. I like that the new one has MORE markings (especially on the head), but the old markings were brighter and more magical. These ones look duller. :C

I like this pet. I thought the face on the old one was better, but I like the number of toes, indication of claws, and fur on the new one. Wish the claws were bigger and extended. If the artist had made the symbols more clear and sharp like the old one it would be so much better too. I never have understood why all the Galactic pets have that crap around them. If it wasn't there they would all be amazing.

Thanks for the comparison @Laurey I think the revamp looks a lot cooler, although I do see the point people are making about the perspective on the far eye and the bridge of the nose being too big, over all, it's great :)

I'm speaking from an outsiders POV of not owning a Galactic Tig, but both old and new art are beautiful, though personally I would like the old better for my own. That isn't taking away from the new art, though, it honestly just seems like preference.

I love the detail of the new shading, especially on its tummy, but there is something about its face that i find really creepy. Like its a bit chubbier now and its forehead bothers me. Plus it doesnt seem to have much of a chest. I love that it now has 4 toes though! Hadnt noticed that before! The common tigrean is one of my favourite pets, but this doesnt seem to match its sleek fierceness.

Love the more detailed markings (and it's cool that it has four toes now, haha, although I honestly never noticed that the old one only had three toes 'til today ^^;) but I preferred the old one tbh.. something about the face of the new one bothers me, not sure what. I like the older pose better, too. Don't get me wrong, the new one's nice, it just has a completely different personality to the old one :(

Eeeek, the revamp I've been dreading is finally here! Fortunately it's not as bad as it could have been. I'm hoping it'll grow on me (but I'm shortlisting new looks for my Kentish in the meanwhile...)

Overall I'm happy about the revamp, but I wish the pose was the same as the old one (as in the head tilted down.) The new one seems kinda... pudgy in the face area? Like if you pushed your neck back and gave yourself a double chin kinda pudgy, idk. Still better than the old one tho

Something looks really odd about the raised from foot and the head seems very stiff/static. Still an improvement overall!

I like this revamp. They kept the same basic pose from the old version, just updated the art to fit the current look of the pet.
