@Genevra You did get it right.
It was a play on words, mostly, to refer to God as a kind and loving being. In the version I have, he wishes his Creations to see him as such while really, he is nothing lke what they think. He crated them as an experiment which went against the Universal Rules (a different connecting part I'm still in the process of drafting) and is a banished being.
Infernos is its own entity; they have their own mind, own sense of being and conscious thought. Lucifer is just basically so done with everything that he can't care any which way it goes but Infernos allows him to reside within their walls and keep the souls in check; Lucifer doesn't rule there I wanted that much to be clear because in almost every rendition I see its always one constant: Lucifer rules Hell. I wanted it to be a mutual agreement of stability where no one rules, just clear-cut "this is where souls are punished and kept in check, that's it."
I have other pets that connect to this story and am still in the process of trying to finish all of them up. I have one for death, a scribe, the embodiment of Heaven that are finished and the ones I'm working on are still in the thought-process of how to write them out. :x
I'm really glad you enjoyed what you've read. c: Thank you so much for your comment!

Interesting re-imagining of an old tale. I rather liked that you called the god one of love who promised paradise, etc, yet, "God's" profile that you linked in there basically says he hates humanity! Lucifer and God come across as squabbling siblings, both convinced they are right. And as far as I could tell, the reborn neela was hell itself? Did I get that part right? All in all, an interesting mash-up of Christian theology and some more modern and heretical ideas about that heaven, hell, god and satan.

@Tinly at the risk of getting myself into trouble here....how dare you come for someones core character concept...and call it redundant. Did you even READ the story??? How can you even, after actually reading it, think it was the same as a traditional heaven/hell god/devil story? I don't know where you get off, but you need to keep your negative comments to yourself. If you have something constructive to add to the conversation, so she can make it better for herself and the story....then by all means. But if you are only here to remark negatively about the core of the character she built around....then you should frankly be ashamed of yourself. Someones character, that they spent time, sometimes money, and lots of energy and brainpower on, is not open for you to boo at. What it makes you seem like is a bitter queen who didn't win the spotlight themselves. Well. You should just think about what you say before you say it next time. Think to yourself, "Is this comment going to bring discussion to the table, and cause positive change in the story?" If the answer is yes, go ahead and post. If the answer is no, maybe you should just refrain next time.

The adage is, if you have nothing nice to say, dont say anything at all. As mature adults i think it more noble to follow that.
Once again, congrats to Megu no matter what others say. ^_^

Damn. Sexy. Reinterpretation of an ancient story into an interesting character. Incorporation of other pets within the intro story. SKILLZ. We gotta get some additional relevant items for that treasure collection, because this buck is lookin FINE!
