Thanks for all the donations, everyone! I just know the kids will have such a good time with all of these new things when camp starts up again next summer. You've really done a good deed here.
Based on the donations, it looks like I'll be joining Blake out on the trail. Go Team Steele! And the best of luck to Team Gold, because as everyone knows, the most important part of any competition is having fun!

I guess I was not motivated enough, too much lag, errors, every time I looked we were super behind anyway, and Wesley is not much of a reward to me. Give me Kain, then I'd probably make the effort to battle the 502s.

Hopefully having Wesley on team Blake means that since our food stores won't deplete as quickly we will encounter obstacles more quickly & progress faster.

This might be a bad idea, actually. We, Team Too Hot, are going to be too busy watching Matlal, Blake, and Wesley while they're mysteriously declothed, hair blowing in wind that actually isn't there... To actually participate. We've dug our grave.
On a 'serious' note: having Wes on our team doesn't do much. He slows down the food depletion a bit. Which is, to an extent, moot. We have the game to bring up the food at any given time, however many times we need it. So the moment the food goes down even slightly all we have to do is play the game. He's really only here for eyecandy. It doesn't effect the outcome (which, by the way, if you've already forgotten, Gold won the first round and Steele had two unchangeable obstacles that set us back).

There was a lot of confusion about what this meant - end of the Subeta day, or end of the plot day? Turns out it meant neither - it meant 24 hrs since the last news post (3 pm). I wouldn't be surprised if staff did clarify this somewhere, but I didn't see it! Staff, please edit the news post next time, or just be clearer about how much time we have left, because this took me by surprise.
