Pawn Shop
The purchasing page for the Custom Wearable Pawn Shop is now closed. You can still sell your CWs to the pawn shop but there is no longer a way to browse and purchase items back, unless we open the page for a special event.

totally necro-ing this because i thought it might be the best place right now to write this but eyyyy @Amber babellina!!!! just realized: might wanna add a 2nd line for CSC in the Shop Profits widget thinger for our left bar, so we know when we have sold something and there's shinies in the Til!! ♥️

This and the Bathhouse were the only reasons I came on the site regularly. Just waiting to accidentally break my Bathhouse and then I won't have much of any reason to check back in. I've tried searching for CWs in shops but it's next to impossible to find a good one unless you know exactly what you want, and even then it's basically the same price as in the CW shop, maybe 50 CSC or so less which is next to nothing. Thanks for making a huge part of the site, CWs, completely inaccessible to those of us who can't afford to drop $7 or more on a single virtual wearable. Feels really alienating tbh

Pretty sad about this :( it was the best feeling when I found a WL CW in the pawn shop. But I'm sure you guys have your reasons for closing it :/

IDK if you use SubetaLodge or not, but they have an entire section of their site dedicated to CW's that you can view by layer and date created (newest to oldest or oldest to newest), so all of the newest items are added right away and it's one easy spot to search them all.

I miss simply browsing the CWs through the cash shop. Now I feel like I have to follow a certain shop or know what I am looking for =/ Im not someone who frequents the boards, so I liked it

well i never had csc to begin with, so it doesn't really matter. i have to use anything i have for pet training...

As someone who has made a handful of CWs, I find it odd that the CW Pawn shop was closed. I actually used it as a way to buy back any of my unwanted CWs and then I would have them available for people who really wanted them.

It would be great if like on Black Friday the pawn shop will be open for business. So that we can get the items that are sold to them this year. I'm sure that they have plans for us. And we'll benefit from this as a site.

The shops are useless, you can not navigate through the different shops, see what the different players sell...You have to know the item name to find the shop, I had to add the few stores I found to my favorites so I could go back sometime and I'm pretty sure there are a lot more shops out there that I have no way to find.
The same happened to me selling: I put things in my shop and almost no one came; I put things back into trades and I was able to sell some...

You should remove the option to sell to the pawn shop so that people can't remove a ton of CWs from the site that we now have no way of getting back. They can use the shops more easily now so just let them use the shops.

How do you sell cw? clicking on sell item and then the item says invalid item, and clicking under the tiny note under the guy, takes me to the users cw shops?

Browsing the pawn shop was one of my favorite things to do, its even bookmarked, I shall miss it terribly its sometimes the only way to see what cw is available apart for trawling subetalodge. Its great that you can buy from users shops, but thats pretty random tbh.Please at least make a directory so we can browse? Also its getting harder to make sp, which has a knock on effect on the purchase of csc, last month I spent over $50 on csc, but that is going to change.

But the price was more or less kept at around and about 5-600. In usershops most CW are way under 500, so...I still don't get it...

I just hope people use their shops more than just selling to the pawn so at least we still have a chance to find them before they are sold to pawn, maybe forever.

I understand the reasoning, but I missed a couple things in there I wanted and wish I could have gotten before the shop closed, so kind of bummed about that. I did however see one of the older CW's I've always wanted since I joined in a shop, so I got excited for that maybe happening when I can save. So its a 50/50 thing for me :)

I'm really sad about this. Do we need to worry so much about CWs being devalued when they're already stupid expensive and CSC is just... ugh.
