hm..I think my subeta is glitching out because all of the images look like the old version? I don't see any changes o_O
Can we repost the info about Merana's return somewhere? I wasn't super active when the news post was made so I missed it, and now that Hydrus pets have been popping back up I just had to google it. Thankfully the newspost came up, but that's not a given for Subeta stuff.

Okay I have been trying to figure out what it's face reminded me of and now I remember. This damn comic panel.
Looks awesome, but why did you remove the anglerfish light from its head? Oh well. I really like the new barnacle details.
Very fond of what you guys have been doing with the hydrus pets lately, hope you revamp some of the other older ones soon too
Am I just crazy? Everyone talking about how it changed a lot... Is that irony? Because I literally cannot see any difference. Maybe the color changes like 1% darker?
the image hasn't updated for me on-site, but on neocolours it shows up! looks very soft :0 love the new details! I'll miss the chunky smooth-plastic look of the old one though :9 but this new one definitely fits the site (and the other pet art) much more!
I love this revamp o Art quality is SO much better (the shading!!! Oh my god seriously how does staff do such gorgeous cell-shading.) I really love the addition of the barnacles, the old one was pretty plain. The eyes are SO pretty, I love the way they were colored omg, and I love that it still has the little... light thingies on the ends of the spines. I actually really like that it no longer has the anglerfish lure on top of its head because it looked a little extraneous to me, like it didn't really fit that well with the overall feel of the pet. I think this looks a lot better, with just the slight changes to overall design and massively improved art quality!
What a lovely revamp! Loving the face so much ore now! And the back spines and tail as well! It's a very subtle revamp but it's great n_n
Hydrus has recently become my favorite color. I have four as it is. I'm trying to figure out if I really need another.
i like the more intense colors, the better definition, if i can say so, the slightly bigger size and that the new one didnt stray much from the old one! well done artist!
i might never get this pet simply because i dont really like the Kumos in general, however i much enjoy seeing updated art.
I hope Subeta staff doesnt get too upset by my pet preferences. ;p

really enjoy this, it updates and improves the design and details, while keeping the charm of the original
I was only looking at this yesterday, wondering if there'd be a revamp soon! That looks so much better, and it's great to see it kept the original pose too :D
