Note to the new players: the announcement of a BHH restock doesn't mean it's in stock. The BHH restocking announcement is very much like Lucy pulling the football out from Charlie Brown. 
The answer is no. No I cannot weather this storm because there's nothing for me to weather XD.
I love BHH! :D I got something from there earlier this week so it'll probably be a month or so before I get lucky again. crosses fingers for plushie Blob love! <3
@Zan Well, no, it's not only one copy ever. The news post happens when a new item comes out that goes into the pool of items currently restocking. We don't know how many copies or which exact items are in the pool (since we don't know exactly what might have sold out or not at a given time). And then randomly throughout the day, one copy of one of those items will restock at a time. You just have to keep checking periodically and hope to eventually catch something. But it's going to stay in the pool until those X number of copies sell out (so this plushie could stock periodically for months and then be gone for awhile until it gets put back into the pool by staff).
It's entirely luck-based, but the items do eventually drop to a reasonable price. I don't understand why people find it so frustrating because there's no expectation of an item being there. Go in expecting that it'll be empty and let yourself be pleasantly surprised when you find something :P

I'm always surprised when I see a news post for a new item in BHH because since there's never anything there I thought it had closed.
