@Leafeon off-season items are still available for purchase, but they cost 25% more than their in-season price. So yeah, it's not meant to be a discount but an increase :) (125% = 1.25, so you can multiply an in-season price by 1.25 to find out how much it will cost off-season.)

@Amber Hi, I'm kind of confused about how the millionaire center works? Will the current summer items be expiring? It also says the off-season items are discounted by 125% but they seem to be more expensive than the current season's items ><;
