A Few End of the Month Reminders!

Just a few friendly reminders! Today is the last day of Keel Hauliday. At 11:59pm, Freyalise Trading Co will be closing its doors and Carl will stop giving out pirate treasure.

This is not the last you’ve seen of Freyalise Trading Co restockables this year, though!

At 11:59pm on September 30th, the Anniversary Boppers and Pirates will no longer be available to fight.

Bug Catching will end sometime in the afternoon of September 30th, so catch those last few bugs!

@indica Ocean depths vended a lot of older Freyalise items, and half a dozen of so of the new ones for me this year.
Got everything except the spyglass and the two red sky backgrounds. Still, quite happy with my haul overall.

I restocked most of the stuff I wanted. Still missing one clothing item (Spruce Ripped Sleeve Coat) and two books (Carved Jade Book & Mending Sails. Yikes...) The backgrounds are beautiful but I never use those types of items so they didn't go on my wishlist. Which is good, because those things (along with the books!) are so insanely hard to snag, not to mention ridic expensive in the usershops. Carl and the Ocean Depths didn't really help out much, but I guess they were stingy since they knew I could do it myself. :P

@indica - Ocean Depths vended a few pirate items that were lower rarity. I snagged a couple of things. In the grand scheme of things, it's been an exercise in frustration, just like it is every year. I'm not sure why I think it's going to be different. I suppose hope springs eternal.

since i play here i try to restock and refresh like wild beast but... it says; restock now, but no item... tell me is that a fake shop?? mmmhhh... not funny... i think special in shop witch are only open limited time, there must be a btter restock and a chance for all of us to get some stuff. if u stay there and refresh like a fool for hours and hours and u get nothing, is frustrating, really...

It seems like every year it's the same problem, the Freyalise just doesn't restock enough for the limited time it's here so items are hard to get and exorbitantly expensive in the aftermarket. I honestly don't even bother outside of Carl anymore because it's empty every time I go lmao. Y'all gotta do better at making this holiday more accessible because not all of us can or want to sit on a page mashing F5 all day (and I reckon the servers don't love it either). And the pirate items weren't in the vending machines this year either? It would have been a great opportunity for those of us who participated in the quest-a-thon to unload some wizard tokens, even for just a chance. D:

Shop JUST restocked 2 mins ago and is EMPTY. I vote for better/more frequent restocks next year.

Thank goodness for Carl. He was the only reason I got anything. Oh, and a little tiny place on Omen called Ocean Depths. *cough*

I'd like to see the shop restock more often next year. I managed to catch a few things, but nothing really fantastic, and Carl didn't drop much for me.

I managed to get a decent amount of stuff on my WL, but there are still quite a few things on there. I'm glad we'll be seeing the items again at some point this year. Especially for the backgrounds, that was the only thing I didn't manage to get any of and they're really pretty. ;~;

But any other way would be amazing, because the prices of the books are crazy and I'm not gonna buy them from another user.
And thanks for no achievements this year! (Achievements with last year items would be ok though)

@jensen Nope, no plans for achievements for pirate items. We decided on doing battle related achievements so we'd get some achievements out this month and not like make the items even crazier for pirates. :x

Right now I waited for 27 minutes, and on restock the site froze for me, because an alert came in, so I didn't get a single item - fortunately there was nothing there, I was after anyhow.

Restocking barely or less than 3 times an hour is not funny.
The Lag last Sunday prevented proper battling and restocking and just everything :-(

Maybe next year Freyalise can restock more often/more items per restock. I never saw a single item in the shop. All my items were courtesy of Carl. Oh well, at least I've got Morostide to look forward to. That's my fave Subeta holiday anyways.

I managed to RS some stuff, vend or get from Carl. Still had to splurge on BGs and books since there's just not enough of them going out. I didn't want to keep them on WL for whole next year and end up having to buy them anyway.
I don't necessarily hate this event, but it's far from fun. At least last year, we had MB.

I'm surprised I managed to grab a few things from restocking this year, I usually don't have much luck. But most of the items I got from Carl and vending. The backdrops seem to be the rarest but I actually got

from Carl, which was the one I wanted the most. :3

Glad we will see the restockables again.
Never saw a single background in the shop on the rare occasion I saw anything and didn't get any as quest rewards or vend in OD (and one at least is low enough rarity to vend). Books weren't much better though I did get a couple lower rarity ones. Super frustrating and not fun. Truly keelhauliday is the most frustrating and disappointing of holidays with access to all the items being so low.

Even with my crappy connection and work and no mystery box, I usually end up with just 2-3 new items missed (stubby & red morning this year). Love this holiday and the spirit of the restock~ So thankful that after all this time, it's still going strong! Wished it covered the whole weekend since I have time tomorrow and not today, but such is life. Still very much enjoy it and the beautiful items~ Looking forward to a reappearance!

I'm curious to see how they're going to come back, but I'm thankful for it, at least. I'm still missing three of the rarer items, and it's not for lack of trying. I think I've only seen the Stubby Shark Tooth restock once!

... i actually only wanted the books/backgrounds, but went after full sets of the other wearables because i was hoping for achievements ;>>

Agree with Reaper. The couple backdrops I really want I have never seen stock once and had bad luck with Carl tonight, getting only a few cheap pirate items. I hope some of the shop items show up somewhere else so we can actually get one.
