Thanksgiving!

Lets make sure to get ready for thanksgiving! Artists, start making tons of food items (even if they aren't releated to thanksgiving, any kind of food is good)

And, I want to have something original (like trick or treating was) for thanksgiving.

Can you think of anything? :D
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH. Eel pie. It was Debi's idea. From forever ago =D
It's a real thanksgiving food, something that the pilgrims would have ate.

We NEED a cornacopia. Anyone up for grabs? I may give it a shot.

I'm afraid I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to Thanksgiving, since it's an American holiday and all.

But I read up on it (how I love Wikipedia). Maybe a pilgrim & Indian Plushie set?

How wonderful, Spirit. Love the little 'x' replacing the eye. xD

I always disliked the "cooking pot" idea.

From my experiences it gets used for like a month solidly, then is never updated again. And, the resultant items fast plummet to levels below the ingredients prices.

I always viewed the "combine" code for custom item uses as our version of a cooking pot, clearly this too is flawed in some ways, I dont know. If we did a cooking pot we'd have to make the resultant items both appealling and constantly updated.

Appealling isnt too hard, we just make them hunger -10, so they're *worth* making. Its the constantly updated thing that makes it tricky ;P

I'm sure our lovely team of artists could whip up the ingredients for the project. As for recipe ideas, those should be simple enough.

Well, I was going to go with Pete, since he has more of a gut than the Wizard... The Wizard just seems like the old football-watcher type, though. Pete looks like he's got a cousin named Vinny that kills people. D=
Gosh, Jacket. Whacking people in the head with things just doesn't seem to say "THANKS!"...

I picture an OVEN. Whoo, oven.

The Wizard, unzipping his pants. O_O This idea frightens me more than anything, considering some of the items he tends to ask for.

If there isn't a football (uggh, American football...) item, perhaps we can add one, and have something in the caption that for those not in the States, they can play rugby or bean people in the head with it?
Just thinking.

Cranberry sweets, guys. Cranberry Turkey Pop? Cranberry Indian Pop? Cranberry Pilgrim Pop? Hrm. Turkey Pot Pie for Bob.

Perhaaaps. You can go to feasts with the the people who give quests? Like. Go to have some turkey dinner with the Wizard. And whilst he unzip his pants, lets his gut hang out, and kicks back to watch some football, we can steal his crap and run! Yes?
Anyway. I guess I should make more SUBETAPETPIES.. since I don't know much else about Thanksgiving.. apartform the Turkeys, the getting fat and watching football.. and there being something to do with Indians and Cowboys.. Pilgrims rather.

POSTING THIS AGAIN, FIXING TYPOS.. SO THAT IT MAKES SENSE. DUH.

SHOVE THE STUFFING IN THE TURKEY?
Like.. Pin the Tail on the Hikei.. only.. a big handfull of mushy stuff being inserted into Turkey's opening or whatever...? If you miss, you lose, if you manage to get it in there.. you win? XD Sort of.. a gross idea actually.. come to think of it. xD My friend and I tried stuffing a chicken once.. neither of us could do it.. because it creeped us out.. so we made her Dad do it. xD he was so violent. o_O Poor chicken. Dead chicken.

IUNNO. WHAT DO YOU *DO* ON THANKSGIVING ANYWAY, AMERICAN PEOPLES?

Or maybe like.. you know that game you play where you put a ball or other inanimateobject underneath one of three cups, then move those cups around, and then try and guess which cup? MAYBE WE COULD DO THAT WITH TURKEYS? LIKE.. THE GOLDEN NUGGET (or other inanimateobject? XD) GETS INSERTED INTO THE TURKEY AND THEN TURKEYS GO WHIZZING AROUND AND THEN IF YOU CHOOSE THE RIGHT TURKEY, YOU WIN A PRIZE?

I don't know. I really don't know.

Maybe.. some sort of target game? Bows and arrows-like? Y'know.. Indians and all? Choose one of six targets to shoot at or something, and then get a random prize? o_O

Maybe.. quest to find 8 Turkey drumsticks or something randomly placed around Subeta.. and every time you collect 8, you take them somewhere and redeem a random prize?

OR.. collect as many little Pilgrim and Indian figures as you can, again.. like REs; then take them somewhere and redeem prizes? You could choose to redeem a prize worth 8 tickets.. or if you're the sort of person to hoarde and save for something big, get another prize worht 20 tickets.. etc.. IUNNO?

Throwing in ideas the artists can use to make "thanksgiving stuff" with:

HUGE table
Pilgram hat (belt buckle and all)
"indian" hat (the kind with feathers?)
Broken bread (a loaf of bread, split in half)
Yams (sweet potatoes)
Cornbread
Different flavors of stuffing (like... 3?)
Turkey
Cooked summer squash
Corn (on the cob)
Raw turkey (I claim that one!!!)
A turkey minion (I lost the sketch for it, so somebody can do this)
Different flavored turkeys (like... bubble gum flavored?)
Candied yams (ya'll know what that is, right?)
Mashed yams
Garlic mashed potatoes
Cranberries
Cranberry sauce
Turkey fork (a weapon)
Green bean casserole
Ham! (for those that don't like trukey)
Veggie turkey (for vegitarians)
Veggie trays
Cheese and cracker trays
Deviled eggs
Pumpkin pie (with whipped cream)
Turkey baster
Gravy (like... 3 differnet flavors)
Buisquits (sp?)
Musket (the kind pilgrims had, with big barrels)

And that's all I can think of for ideas the artists can make... feel free to make ANY of them guys (except the raw turkey).

For more ideas, go to your local wal-mart, and look at the holiday decoration isle.. they have tons of little turkey candles, snowglobes, napkins, and other weird "thanksgiving stuff" you can use for ideas.

Yes, a big table like the pumpkin patch maybe with different Thanksgivingy foods and maybe a Thanksgiving centerpiece, Indian corn, a cornucopia, a turkey candle with a little flickery flame, etc. ... and maybe a little running animated turkey Minion as the main prize! I was going to ask about this earler today, if the items are going to be released a few days before Thanksgiving maybe? It seems to take awhile for some things to stock.

YAY. I WAS DEAD. I couldnt think of anymore thanksgiving food.. so.. if I can do *any* food..thats great. XD

Uhhh.. I dont think I have any ideas for thanksgiving.. a free gift, MAYBE LIKE.. I DONT KNOW.. a big.. table-like-thing.. that you can go to every so often and click "Get food!"..and you get some food? XD
