I just logged back into Subeta today after more than half a year of being inactive. I scroll and immediately see this new shop keeper; the natural hair on a black person and vitiligo representation makes me remember why I love Subeta. Happy to be back.

So sweet! I just rescued two rats from the humane society a few days ago and I am happy to see some love for rats! The art is gorgeous too!

I love love LOVE these and need them all immediately! Rats are the best. I used to have one named Zuko who would sit on my shoulder and lick my cheek. They're like tiny puppies. ♥️

@Ryuu has super good advice for anyone thinking about getting ratties and I agree with it all except one thing: absolutely DO get them even though they break your heart a little bit <3 they are so worth the trouble. They're such amazing little souls who deserve loving homes. Even if they have short lifespans, that's a normal lifespan to them, and they will love you and be grateful for all of it! It makes me so happy to see other rat fanatics on Subeta and the items are so cute omg :') yayayay rat stuff

They couldn't live good lives in mouse or gerbil cage. Rats get to be huge; my boys were each like a foot long! But, I've found rats to be a lot better pets than the other two; they're a lot more social and not afraid all of the time. ha. They like to be pet and held and will choose to hang out with you when you let them out, whereas the other two are pretty skittish.
Rats are like little, strange dogs & they die way too soon. You will be sad! Don't get rats. :(

At first I was just like, cool new rodent food like the cat and dog food already in the shop but then I hovered over one of them and NOTICED THEY'RE RAT COMPANION WEARABLES AND I LITERALLY SCREAMED "YESSSSSSSSS" AT MY PHONE OMG... THANK YOU!!

But I find the way they are grouped a bit weird. I prefer it when the variations of an item are variations of the pose. e.g. chew sticks are all on the ground, etc etc. Rather than by colour..?
Now it is hard to find which specific rodent-friend you're looking for because there's no rhyme or reason to the way the previews line up.

Oh my, the Blueberry Yogurt Yummies look exactly like the rat I had ten years ago. Makes me miss that little one (and the others I had as well).

I love this! My first pets were mice (two white ones and a gray one). Whiskers, Cuddles and Whiskey. I miss those guys :(

@Amber Ahh, no wonder! I thought eleven seemed like an odd number, especially when there were 4 of every other color variation. Yay! More rat friends to collect.

Hooray! I was disappointed when I saw that the final stage of Lobotomeat didn't have any rat friends (they worked so hard to build you back up! they deserve credit! accolades!), but now I can have rat friends! Thanks, guys.
