This makes me a little angry. I couldn't get many of the items this year because I couldn't spend the entire two weeks of Moro TOTing or visiting the Patch, and I kept getting the same items over and over again. I thought that I could just buy all the other items left I needed, because at that point there were so many of them that it wouldn't be too hard, that some would be rarer than others, obviously, but it wasn't like there were any new achievements to ruin this plan and make everything more expensive. Surprise, surprise, on the final day of Morostide when I'm offline all day, I find this a few days later. I am unhappy. I of course forgot to check the news when I came back on the 1st because I didn't think I'd be missing anything important...

Wish there was a way for newbies like me to know these kinds of "they do this every year, why are you surprised?" things. I was under the impression all the items would devalue through the event, spike when it was done cause everyones buying them up, then devalue further. I would have actually bothered saving things that were selling for lower prices rather than autoprice selling everything extra.

Well, that was a lot of fun. NOT. Had to take out the Strawberry Jelly Spider out of my wardrobe because of the price. I just bought the things I need to be done with this. XD I'm just glad I found Trace in the early start of this event.

Every year in my city drivers who have lived here all their lives get caught off guard when it snows and collisions go up, even though it snows every year and you would think that they would be prepared for it and maybe get a little proactive with putting winter tires on their cars, but it always seems to catch them by surprise.

I'm probably going to be unpopular for saying this, but they're called achievements for a reason. They're supposed to be hard to get. If you can easily get them all at once then it's not really an achievement. I was able to get maybe two or three of them of this year, as for the others perhaps next year.

So, I had to buy all the Lowly minion things, thankfully they were still cheap, and I've put them in the wardrobe. No achievement.
Is anyone else having this problem or was I supposed to try and get them in the main shops which WOULD NOT be possible in my opinion..

Yay for new achievements though! I had to buy at least one item to get all of them (except I'm still trying to ToT for one of the rag dolls because I just don't want to pay that much). But I am still super happy to see new achievements. :D

Maybe as a special treat y'all could take the old items out of the pool for the rest of the day so we'd have a better chance at the new stuff we still need? Nah? Well it was worth a shot. :P

I agree that just because it's 'always been done this way' doesn't mean it has to keep being as such. The site has slowed to an absolute crawl and I cannot get anything done, let alone any ToTing to try and get items, and for people with bad luck getting items our choices now are either struggle through the site's lag or buy them for an insane price now that the price gougers have gotten to them. Even if the items will be back next year that's still not any consolation, because now it'll take until next year to get them without paying a ton and it just adds pressure since there will presumably be new items and new achievements next year too.

I've yet to actually get a single one of the new Rag dolls... I'm collecting them for my pet's TC (I've added them to my wishlist for Lil Peek). I wish I could get them when I ToT... and I even have the monocle on as well protecting me from hexes to ensure more "goodies"! Last year I had a similar problem getting the rag dolls as well... and of course, now that they are needed for an achievement, the price of each have skyrocketed! Here's hoping I can get a few of the new ones... or even some of the older ones I don't have yet! (crosses fingers). Wish me luck!

What I did was wishlisted everything when it came out even if I was not really interested in it for my personal use just in case it was used in achievements later and I made sure I had every item for all their respective uses. Then I traded my extras for the ones I needed. Events almost always have these achievements at the end of the event so always make sure to have everything before the achievements come out so the price will be better. The items will be here next year too if you can not afford them now.

Hey look, almost all achievements requiring stuff I haven't gotten yet because I always have awful luck with second wave stuff.
Usually i wouldn't be cranky about this, but with how slow the site is and how hard it is to scramble all those things together: euch.

& yeah, it's frustrating, but pretty sure this isn't the first time that achievements have been released late in an event either. I thought that they might release some achievements today & purchased some of the things I was really wanting last night, just in case. It just took some thinking about how events work and planning ahead. Personally more annoyed at the people who purposefully buy everything up to raise prices right after an announcement like this. I try to never buy from users with 10+ of items for this reason. :p Good luck getting what you still need/want too! ♥️

@Sirensong the achievements are ALWAYS released at the end of events. It's always been this way. You can easily hold onto your items from TOTing until the end of Morostide when achievements come out before selling spares. It's always been this way for every Morostide I've been a part of so I can't see why its so surprising they did what they always do.

I haven't had much luck with 2nd round items either. I haven't found any items for the Dress Up achievement.

Why on earth would you release a ton of new achievements that take a ton of items on the last half day of the holiday? If these had been released at the beginning, everyone would not be scrambling like crazy to buy the items before the inevitable crazy pricing happens 3 minutes later. If released initially, the items wouldn't have been available so people wouldn't be going nuts trying to buy them, and we would all have had time to work toward a known requirement throughout the holiday. Sigh.
