Fireside 2021!
As a special treat this year, the bonfire seems to be giving out some old Fireside restockables. Magic, am I right?
Fireside will end at 11:59pm on November 30.

Is this and this being given out by anyone, or were they just used as a decoration? I see they are retired, but are they supposed to be given out, or were they just used to pretty up the post?

Here are more Hot Tips for Fireside!
Opening the item in a new tab will still put it in your inventory. You can use the following techniques for minimal tab-opening:
--Use the button on your mouse that have the scroll bar wheel to click on the item
--Use Ctrl/Cmnd (Windows/Mac) + Click the item
--On mobile, hold your finger on the item and select to open in a new tab/new tab group
--If a whole new window is your jam, Shift + Click on the item will open it in an entirely new browser window

also another tip since I see a lot of people sharing tips and tricks: the Red Rreign Plushie that you get by completing level 20 of Item Hunt can also be thrown in the bonfire

I love the new items! I wishlisted the items I wanted and that seems to help. I do not know how. Not many doubles of junk this year either! YAY!

Quests aren’t a better option because there are a limited amount of old items going out. I specifically went through and tagged items that were less on site or very expensive. The pool for fireside restockables just wasn’t worth adding to quests. Also the chance of getting these are less than the current year stuff. It’s all weighted (this year, last year, old old restockables/previous year stuff that was too expensive).
I’m going to be tweaking the chances of getting items!
Also FYI, Fireside started on the 22nd last year. This year is no shorter then last year.

-Feed Minions in the Wastelands
-Play Slots
-Do EVERYTHING manually, i.e. adding beanbags, plushies, clothing, etc to their respective collections

...forgot ... and the bonfire isn't even giving back an item for every (expensive) one thrown in, so it's double gamble anyway.

Especially with so many new books, one of which seems extra reluctant to show up!
The bonfire items are a trillion times harder to scrap up than Charity's and Fantine's anyway!

I have to agree with @Jai, especially since it's shorter this year so there's less time to get all the new items, most of which require doubles because they're edible wearables. Quests would have been a better option. Also, I feel like some of the older items from the item pools for Charity and the Bonfire could do with being removed since they're so cheap now.

First Fireside here! I'm excited to check out all the new items. So, what should I focus on the most? Or is it all about the same? I plan on donating all food I get from questing, but should I seek out pumpkins? Burn all qualifying items? I'd love for people to message or comment with what they enjoy doing the most!

YYEEEEEESSSSSSS!!! It's been a while since I got to the first two days of an event! So excited, I do remember the sweaters from previous years, but I don't for most of the display... well, I hope I'm lucky enough to get some :3

@Sigma I'm using Opera and my only extension atm is a password manager. I'll keep poking around though, there may still be something in the way in the browser's settings

First Fireside here, about how often do the floating items appear? I've been on the past 3 hours with nothing so far. I remember no pumpkins showed up unless I was on mobile for Moro too... Maybe I just need to be on mobile? Pop-up blocker isn't on.

Okay there's so much to love about the items this year that I could be here all day but can I just say I love the wreathed egg beanbags? They look like little nests! ahh!! Again I love everything but I just had to yell about that it's very cute.

Another to add to my collection. And they are so friggin' cute, the Lil leaf beard! Admittedly I only have a small handful of Gnomelis right now, but I plan to fix that eventually (the couple others are in Qat's TC).
I'll do my best to gather all of the correct info for Fireside so next year I will have a guide!

Ooh, so fun!! I absolutely love the Ren Faire theme, that's so creative and works so perfectly with the rreigns. ALSO of course the blubs are absolutely PRECIOUS once again! I love them all, but the description for definitely made me laugh.
