Very happy this is still going to be celebrated. I honestly was always so busy that I missed the survival holiday, or didn't get to experience it much. I hope this year will be different!
Most of my exams have passed, so hopefully for a while I will have a bit of time to celebrate with everyone on here :)

Then there was Sickura, and I felt like it was Chanukah and my birthday and Lumi all rolled into one. <3
(the only Z skins I have are Sickura, and I also ended up getting Fevermore because I wanted to be a bird sometimes... but if there are more absolutely beautiful skins I may do it again someday...)

I love seeing the progression of new strains and voting on names! Three of my suggestions have become official names for Subeta skins, and that always gives me little jolt of pride, so I'm motivated to try for a fourth.

That time Skitters' shop ended up with non-standard recolors of Louis' shop's items remains a highlight for me, I'd like to see more of that (even though cutesy pink stuff is my absolute favorite) ❤️❤️ I'm so excited, this is my favorite holiday!!

I'm crossing my fingers for the weekend since I'll be around to play! BUT I always hope for some pretty/cutesy strains. I would love a fairy-elfish one. Something light and magical. But collecting skins, even if they make me go ew, is definitely fun. And I like candy hearts!

this will be my second full-time Survival and i'm eager to be one of the first to try a newly released strain, can't wait for the options. also i'll be ready to bite, especially with my favorite, Fevermore! ;k

@Amber The Subeta team has created a wonderful variety through the years and I'm glad because we don't all enjoy the same styles. Mostly I enjoy the cutesy ones but there have been a few I really enjoyed even though I wouldn't call them cute like Butterfly Bruise and Crack Head because they are so easy to build HAs with in the wardrobe. Some skins I love the look of but they are difficult or impossible for me to build an HA with like the Death Slug, Angler and Bubble Jelly. Oh how I wish I could figure out how to use Bubble Jelly. Whatever you have for us this year I know will have fun. There was a time when I didn't think I would ever get the chance to collect all the skins I like so I don't mind having all the ones I like and not having to choose which ones I will have to wait till next year to collect. My favorite skin in the whole wardrobe including all the skins would be between Fevermore and Butterfly Bruise.

I am excited to see all the beautiful new items! Even if I don't end up getting any of them, I really enjoy seeing all the lovely art and fun item ideas the staff always comes up with.

Did you notice how many of us were checking the Item Directory in anticipation? lol Thanks for the heads up! Seeing the new items is always my favorite part and I enjoy the zombie reveals even if I never go for a skin (because what if I pick a gross one?! o.O). Can't wait!

i'm just happy to still have subeta after all these years lol. not to be corny but a lot of sites i used to play aren't around anymore. it isn't what it used to be but staff still put in the work to bring us these events and new items/strains each year. they don't have to do that and they do, so i'm just feeling appreciative and dorky rn i guess lol :') i'm excited to see the development of new viruses and new items

Survival and Morostide are my very favorite times on site honestly. I'm excited for new skins (even tho I'm a butt who never wears mine) and biting and seeing what new goodies we get. I appreciate the heads up that it'll start within the next week. I keep checking to see if the items are getting added yet haha. I just am so excited. Insert that gif of the one kid from Despicable Me who's going on about their stuffed toy being so fluffy except it's me going "it's almost survival" bahahaha

Well, thanks. Also thanks for explaining what happened to the whole day of NO resets, NO weekend quest and thanks a lot for the compensation. I dread the new event. In fact, any. More and more stressful when I just want to come and relax. Yeah...zombies and hearts...and the site will go boom again. Oh joy :D

I'm always excited to see what new stains there are and what theme they may be. I really want like an artist based art of skins sometime. Monet, Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, and Mark Ryden come to mind hehe.

@thercery I didn't intend this as a teasing thing, more a "plan for it happening in the next week". This is a holiday people really appreciate having a good idea of when it starts purely for skins. There is no set date for this holiday, and we are not ready to start it at this particular moment (some last minute items being done etc).
@METROID Just waiting on the loot for the new winter challengers that will come with him! It might be they come after Survival as a last winter storm before Spring.
@Eitleoidhme What kind of strain speaks to you? We try to do a cutesy one, morbid/spooky one, + others each year.

Looking forward to the forums and seeing which suggestions were heard this year. There are always so many good ones but I think a lot of us are hoping this will be the year we get an item that bundles the currency. Though I'm sure its frustrating on your end and for many of my fellow Subetans I'm not sure any holiday on Subeta feels complete without a glitch. I guess we will see.
Skins I can't wait to see the final reveal of the new ones. I've collected all the others I want and a few I don't but the ones I don't have are just to unappealing to me so I hope there is something I like this year. Thank you for all your hard work. I'm mostly just glad to have a time frame for when Survival will begin.

@Ezzie When the holiday begins there will be a thread that gives a lot of information about the holiday activities but the skins take time to collect so I recommend finding a skin you want to collect in the wardrobe under skins and signing up for it as soon as the infection program opens. Then you need to find people in the forums who can infect you with your chosen strain or a random one if your prefer the mystery. There is always a large thread for getting bitten. If you go there your guaranteed to get swarmed by zombies day or night. Extra note every strain has two names because they are given one by the creators and then we get to vote over the first few days on it official name for the wardrobe so don't let that confuse you. They often go by their original name on the infection program page. If your go here to Subetalodge you can see the original name in tiny print under the bar with its official name. If you are to poor to afford the skin you want you can choose random skin for free and just be specific in the thread about which one you want. I enjoyed a combo signing up for random and requesting one of three to five I couldn't choose between. Hope you have so much fun!

I get why you can't outright tell us though, since the start date likely isn't settled and is subject to change. I think it's wise to give yourself a window and make it as easy as possible to rollout!
Then again, If you DO have a strict start date in mind, gimme gimme!
I'm of course looking forward to the naming contest for rhe strains. It's always a blast and I love getting to know users as we toss ideas around! Also excited for making HA's around each stage!
