As someone who has been playing dnd for many years, this one hits right in the feels.
I could see a character like this shinning on a Pathfinder campaign, but I suppose something like 5e would work too.

Congrats! Like the profile, and the story is well written but sad. I began playing D&D when it started in the 80's. Shhh... yes I'm showing my age. lol But even though I don't play live anymore (after about 20 years) I do still roleplay online. :)
