You're dating yourself and most of us here with this one, @Amber lolololol

Whoever is responsible for the "Forums Go Down the Hooooole" news post title wins bonus points xD
I have zero idea why it stuck with us, but my partner and I say that to each other all the time haha. Between this free gift and that title it's apparently nostalgia week on Subeta xD

What the what! I read the explanation and still don't fully understand what is happening with this or the lyrics. Oh well. Thank you for the free gift =)

@Jakkalope
Thank you for enlightening the uninitiated. I will dissolve into dust with you in honor of the old days.

Huh, I've never heard of the meme this is referencing. For some reason I'd always assumed this item was a reference to the song Crocodile Rock lmao

glad this stuck in so many of y'alls heads. I was thinking about it the other day and was like yes time to bring that item back

gdi, now it's gonna be stuck in my head.
If you're checking the comments and are not clear what it's referencing: back in the mid-2000s -- I wanna say 2007 or so -- there was a meme consisting of looping a few lines from a track by Chip Da Rapper. The line goes "Interior crocodile alligator/I drive a Chevrolet, movie theater" (as seen and heard here), and it was a popular nonsequitur or bait-and-switch joke, kind of like a rickroll.
There's more nuances to it, but explaining YTMNDs in 2024 makes me feel like dissolving into dust.

Someone tell me what this means because every time I see him I think of "See ya later Alligator/After a while Crocodile" and imagine him driving away while a song version of that plays.
