To Fractured_Wings: It's not that all Spectrum pets have to be brooding, but I was suggesting the Montre should be, since its species seems to be of the brooding type. Afterall, its Angelic form is brooding, while most other species are all happy. ^^<p>
Also, not all Spectrum pets are of the same happiness. Some do retain their original species attitude and charm. ^^ Take the Charlie, Antlephore, and Dillema, for example. <img src=http://www.subetax.org/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif border=0> They're just a little different.</p>

The Spectrum Montre has a nice look to it, kinda like a dog sitting in the corner. ^^ I like the paint effect there, but my only qualm is that it's smiling. Like my friend Rapha said, Montres should look brooding. One thing that surprised me, though... it's not using its tail like a paintbrush. O.o I would have expected that. :p <p>

The Spectrum Montre is awesome. There is nothing wrong with any kind of drawing. Drawings are not made to be in exact accordance. If it was then everyone would be drawing the same thing over and over. I don't care too much for the Scribble pets, although this one makes me laugh a bit, because of the puffed cheeks.

I appreciate the artists doing a good job, and I do think the montre is beautiful in its own way - but it doesn't mean every person has to like every pet. The shading looks beautiful; It's bright, and makes it look seem.. Real. Like it's sitting right there on your screen.
The wings are one of my favorite things about it. The artist did an excelent job of making it look like the wing was pointed in our direction. It's a very hard effect to pull off, but they did it very well. (:
I adore the little rainbow coming off it's paw. Don't know why, but it just hypnotizes me. xD
It doesn't seem as fluffy as the other Montres, and it IS smiling..
But, if a spectrum pet wasn't smiling, I'd be afraid. |:
It's annoying how everyone is complaining about the smile. The Hipposaru is a totally happy pet, but look at the Graveyard version.

The art is lovely...but I'm kind of sad to see that this is the second overly happy-cheery montre colour .-. I loved the serious indifferent expression. It sets the montre apart from a lot of others, but now the major colours seem completely out of character to me.
