I just wanted to add to all this (right before adding all these pretty weapons to my wishlist)... That for the most part it is easy to earn the sps although it doesnt happen overnight. I have been a member for four months and my shop has made 30 something million dollars... I do not restock alot... and for the most part I just do several of the quests.... Plus I have used two gold account.. (but then I purchase those with sps). In the long run, the thing that gets to most of us is the spending... we spend before it can add up.... The most I ever had was 15 million and I used that money to buy the sagi sword... I have a buying problem heehee... Granted I have to fix it now but I do not mind it... I might treat myself on the way their to a few reasonable placed items but I want these weapons <img src=http://www.subeta.org/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif border=0>

The prices are quite reasonable, there has to be some high-end items in the economy and wizard tokens are so easy to come by I don't know how anyone can complain about those. I don't understand how your weapons will have to compete with the better weapons unless you're versing someone who has them, which there are little chances of anyway due to the 'insanely high prices', as you point out. Just saying this because I can, hehe. I'm going to save for the Icekiss because I set out long ago to get every ice item on this sight (and I'm not there yet, curses, so very far to go). It's just unfortunate circumstance for me that one of the prettyest ones is so expensive. I'm still going to save for it. It'll just take me a few years. B/c I have a job and family commitments and make/sell costumes and generally do a lot of stuff. Therefore I can't make a ton of sp really quick like some people can (and wow they are impressive!). Still, that doesn't matter. I will save for a few years and hope they don't get retired before I can afford one. Oh please don't retire them before that! I can assume that they all are worth it as far as battle stats goes, but I just want one b/c it looks nice. ..... I'm crazy for that, huh? I left said "other site" because I managed to get those desirable items, then because they are fascists they "froze" me for "multiple accounts" when I happened to have other people in the house playing...and they wouldn't listen to that. here I am perfectly happy striving to get the amazingly high, but still in my mind very reachable ammount of SP to get these items, and feel hopeful that thus far I haven't seen such a dissasociation. the staff here are actually able to be talked to, and everything is done on a far more humane and human basis.

I believe that when a site has many items which are extremely desirable (wearables being some of them here for example) yet also unaffordable to the casual player [Re: anyone who has job(s)/children/RL commitments or doesn't spend hours online daily], then yes, they may lose members, and perhaps may discourage new members which has also resulted in the blatant begging and scamming inherent elsewhere. DNA, you still don't get the point, do you? It's not so much about not being able to afford 60 or 8 times 60 millions (ridiculous), it's mainly about our fear, that the equipment we chose, cherish and worked for so hard, now (according to your own words) will not be able to compete against the new ones. Thus our achievements were vain and that is annoying and disappointing. Plus we don't want to "have" to spend more time here than at work to make playing worth while. That ruins the fun of the game - like elsewhere. Fullstop.

I also don't know what that 'other' site is so I don't know if I have personal experience there, but of all the places I've been, the people I met made me stay <img src=http://www.subeta.org/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif border=0>. I also can't afford any of these new weapons, and the only one I've added to my wishlist to even consider saving up for is the Shinigami (cuz dude, it's called Shinigami! I mean, too cool.), but I don't really mind that the others are so expensive. I understand that I'll never be able to afford a 60 million sP item (and I would never 'want' to shell out 60 million for one item), but I don't think that means it shouldn't be out there and available for other people who would. I just guess, in the end, I just don't see how it's 'bad' to have expensive items floating around ^^; and I don't know why people seem to be offended by the price tags. (Okay, I do have to admit, 100,000 recycling points makes me die inside, since 3k for the dresses was already mind-blowing to me)

Um, because you can't have fun on the site unless you own one of those weapons? Every game site that has a currency has some items that only a few people can afford. These are Subeta's. There are 9 weapons, and I guess there's a Maleria item in the MC that is 60 mil as well, so let's say there are 10 super expensive items on Subeta. 10 out of over 10,000 other items. I really don't think anyone 'needs' these weapons to have fun.
60 mil is pricey, but in no way unobtainable. xD I just hope the stats are decent on 'em. And if not....they're still gorgeous like whoa.
My only concern is there is not enough ways to get Wizard tokens. Maybe Keith wants it that way; but, there's what? At least 20 ways to spend Wizard tokens, and 3 ways to earn them.
I can't say that I can complain ^^; the Riptide gives me something to look forward to saving up for. I can only guess that it has something to do with merana. Oh and it's best not to complain, who cares if only the super rich can buy em' save up like a normal person I mean really

I'd love to one day own all of these weapons. I for sure am not going out of my way to earn enough sP for these in the meantime. I will just continue saving for now, and completing my pet goals, because right now that is all I want to spend my sP on. Awesome weapons, they're gorgeous. I have a couple that I'll be setting a goal toward. Hmm...I think I will save every single token from doing wiz quests and those random token events.
