There are a lot of Minions, as well as very nice clothing items this time. Also, there is no way of knowing if the artist might decide to make the bowling pin wearable in the future in some way. If she should decide to, then it will equal other clothing items. I buy twenty DP's every month and then try to trade my doubles for those I don't have. (Not working awfully well for July so far... XD)

I do have to admit, the random chance at getting a non-collectible or non wearable item (however meaningful to the holidays/month) is one reason why I tend to buy out of the trade center over the cash shop. If it is a month with a lot of minions, weapons or neat clothes (although I DO like edibles and pretty non wearable jewelry) then I will take my chances and buy more than a couple DPs. But when I have the chance at getting an item that is so over abundant and non-sought after, then I will not gamble at getting a lot of things I don't want. Maybe, the DPs can be divided into more than one group? All the same price, but minions, clothes, holiday significant items can be released through seperate boxes. And then, the sheer amount of people who would avoid buying the now non-highly sought after things would help balance their worth once they appear on the site, in lesser quantities. Just a thought.

The items in the Donation Presents reflect various holidays and events. The food item represents an Asian harvest festival, and many people were quite happy to get it. The bowling pin is for National Bowling Month. (Yes, we have bowlers on the site). Also, there had always been one or two less useful DP items; look back through them. Macaroni Portrait, anyone? XD Also, the Wooden Ship was the same, until just recently, when it was made wearable. There was also an odd wooden artist model. And a pogo stick. Even the Straitjacket served no purpose prior to the HA's.

The bags weren't individually drawn one at a time for each thing; the entire set of them was drawn months ago. The artist chose which color bag contained which animal herself.

I got a bowling pin too. Why have prizes like this unless you are at least going to make it wearable, like the nail gun was. (No offense to the artist, it's well drawn) And kitty in a bag, I was already waiting for, glad it's here, but why pink?? The safir is already pink, the kitty following has pink cats, why did the bag need to be pink too? Why, when we are spending actual money is there something useless and pointless like the bowling pin in there? I got 3 of them, and I can see them all being still in trades for a few months before I can finally put them in my store. Really frustrating! Can't we be rewarded for spending money by getting things people can wear or put in their collections?
