The Tiles Game has been updated! It should now be possible to get some tiles from the Bonus game that were nigh on impossible to get before. The Bonus game scoring has changed slightly. Specifically, matching tiles by species (instead of color) is now worth more points, and to balance that out playing wild tiles is now worth fewer points. Four new species have also been added to the game, as well as a new tile (that you'll just have to figure out how to get on your own because I'm not telling). :D
Note: The Tiles Game image issue has been FIXED. :)

I like this game alot, it's a bit of a mind puzzle, although not as mind-provoking as Prism. I think this game would be enhanced however if the faces on the tiles were easier to see. I myself do not have all the names and basic face shapes of all the pets here, like I do on a certain other pet site. Is it possible to maybe outline the pets with black or gray to make them stand out a BIT more?

Ohh, thank you for fixing the game! It wasn't worth playing much anymore, even as a top collector, since the high scores were just TOO high to match to get a rare tile...lol Now it will be again. <img src=http://www.subeta.org/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_happy.gif border=0> I can't wait to peek in my collection and see the updated tiles too <img src=http://www.subeta.org/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif border=0>

Whether or not the game is worth playing would be a matter of opinion. If the Tiles were easy to get, everyone would complete their collection in no time, and the tiles would be so common, they'd pile up everywhere or be sold for next to nothing. Then everyone would complain that the game wasn't worth playing because the Tiles wouldn't be worth anything. As it is, yes, you have to play the Regular Game quite a few times to earn a Bonus Game, however, you always get a tile for your collection from playing the Bonus Game, and at least if you don't want to keep it you can sell it for a decent amount. Tiles is the ONLY collection on Subeta that can be completed without spending a single sP. In fact, the process of playing the game is sure to give you sP. Then again, I am probably biased because I enjoy playing the game, therefore the Tiles for my collection are just an added bonus. <img src=http://www.subeta.org/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif border=0>
Also, FeralKoala, the reason for the artwork on the tiles is that I currently do all the Tiles art myself. The Quag is not an artist, but because the Tiles Game requires over 400 different tiles images at present, well, I'm not going to pawn a job like that off on someone else. I gave up playing the game because it took too long to be able to play the bonus games and you only got one tile for the bonus games. It just was not worth it.

If you try to place the tile not showing up on a pilar and its not matching it will tell you in the red print what the colors of the tile is... thats how I make it work in the midst of a game.

Hmm...why wasn't the tile art updated too? The gradient shading and cheap photoshop effect makes them look quite old. I was hoping for either a mozaic or wooden tile look.

I like playing, its relaxing for some reason or another... shrugs... lol but I get impatient when the tile tray is like 5 away from being filled, so I get irritated that its not fast enough xD
