No offense, but the mouth needs fixing and the beginning of the tail isn't smooth-it seems as if hte artist''s hand tembled slightly when it was outlined. The coloring is ok, as well at the anatomy, but nothing to make me want to run and get a bloored dragarth.

To me, It simply appears as a brown dragarth waving bye bye. It seems very infantile in its expression and there is no "edge" to the drawing as in other "bloodreds".
I can only hope the new redraws do not get to my two favorite pets as we are not trading up anymore. It seems we are going for quantity rather than quality. I can only hope that this new trend for "revamp" doesn't get to them.

Yeah, it's good art and coloring, but it's very bland in my opinion, nothing at all amazing. -yawn- I wish it looked more vicious or more..something, it's like "Look at me I'm chubby and cutesy no matter how evil you try to make me look =D" -lame- That's definitely far from my taste and I'm sure many many others. Where is sleek and vicious, any sign of it other then maybe the Paralix or dark matter kumos maybe? I'm so disappointed..

If one looks closer, it's not actually smiling. More like pulling its mouth back into a snarl, or at least the beginnings of one. Having been a fan of the Dragarth since beginning on Subeta, I kinda like the 'animated poses' that the artists have been giving the revamps rather than the stock-standard 'hey I'm standing here!' - that being said, not all BloodRed pets have to have the evil tendancy. Some of them, like the Dragarth, will look mischievious rather than wholeheartedly evil. This definitely oozes the mischievious air. What is it with the revamps lately! They seem to be basically making the pets "cute" Since when do Bloodred pets smile? I mean sure the colouring is great, but come on. This... it's not as generic a pose as the sitting pose of the other dragarths... but instead, it's a lame pose. Or at least, badly executed.

Hm, the few things that seem awkward are the right back foot/paw (the one in the puddle of blood in the back)...it looks like it's going to wrong way, like it's trying to face the same way as the left back paw. Another thing is the head, it's shoved back too far, like its throat would come up at its lip (maybe add a roll to look like it's hunching back or maybe make its head a bit more foreward) and, yes, maybe make its snout a bit longer. Another thing you could add to make it a tiny bit more fierce is some more fangs in there just for a bit more of a 'stay back' look. That and the corner of the mouth looks all bumpy as if it's just all gums... xD; but yes, despite all that I like it :3 especially the way the blood is always colored

I like the body- a sort of cross between a raptor and a lion... and the pose is amusing. I also like the lack of blood- it differentiates the Dragarth from most other BR pets. A little individuality can be nice, especially since the Dragarth isn't super threatening in it's natural state anyway. So that's what I like.
The head, however, bothers me. Alot. No offense of course, but it's far too square. A little length for the snout maybe? And an eye that's slightly smaller. Or perhaps part of the other eye. It just looks strange with the body- not up to the usual art standard.

Honestly, it looks too happy to me for a BR pet. Not happy as in the psychopath happy, "Wow, I killed 30 people and I feel great!" But happy as in an innocent happy.. like a young kid who gets to dress up as their favorite cartoon character. I know the dragarth is a happy species, but the BR color is supposed to be one of those "evil" colors.
Also, it is too dark. I have a fairly new LCD screen with the settings all the way up and even I find it hard to see all the details.

Not to be beating an already-dead horse, but it does seem a bit too dark; my screen's brightness is at a full 100 - but I have to lean back quite a bit to see any shading, the blood on the raised paw, snout, horn and tail (actually, I can see some of those only due to the shine; otherwise, they'd just look to be dark red markings).
The chest fur & wing membrane should probably be a darker shade of red as well; the colour they are now makes me think someone soaked them in bleach as an attempt to get the blood out. <img src=http://www.subeta.org/images/smilies/smiley_xface.gif border=0>
Perhaps if the upper lip were pulled into more of a snarl, it wouldn't look as though it were smiling?

One more thing it could be people... Is a matter of opinion. What may be dark to one person, may be perfect to another. <img src=http://www.subeta.org/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif border=0> No need to necessarily claim one computer is better than the other... I know Raeven and I argue on colors all the time, though that's because she differentiates between them much more than I do. (An obvious orange-red color to her is just a red-orange to me). Yay for biological differences in both eyes and interpretation.

I feel like it's hysr raring up fro play or pose as if looking in the camera. If it wanted to look truely bloodred, I think it should be giving you a true angular glare and a wide mouth of teeth where the color is less bright pink. i think it'd look better leaing into the swipe and making it mean harm.

i find it more looking like the old dragarth, the face/look it has i mean. i like that =3 i dont find it too dark and i dont even have true color graphic, only 24bit. but i have a laptopscreen and i know the "too dark"-issue from school monitors...

One was a flatscreen and one was a big monitor. And I know a lot of people have the TOO Dark issue... I don't think it's a hardware issue...unles you want half the people here to get brand new computers just to see it XD *attempts to crank up brightness*

Grudges? O_o Anyway, I immeadiately got the coat of arms reference, but I don't think it works too well with a dragarth... ^^;; Ah well. My only complaint is that it's far too dark. I even checked it on another computer. I wish you guys could tone it down a little ;-; I'm sure it has a lot of nice detail but I will never be able to see it :/

Agrees with the dark red blends in almost too much with the black... I think he's adorable, in a kittenish ferocity type way... And for some reason, when I look at him, I think emo... So it's like... When emos attack for me... hehe... I love it.

This is /horrible/, in my opinion. What is with the face? The eye is way too big for the head. And the body structure is off. Way off. It's like it was drawn incorrectly just to fit in the wings. The tail is stubby, and short, and crooked in the lineart. The right foot [left, in our perspective] is drawn crookedly. The arms are stubby as well, and the proportion of the right one [left, again, as we see it] is totally off. Also, why is some of the blood shiny? Blood does /not/ shine that bright unless against harsh light. It should be as dark as the one on the

Dur. Where exactly is the bloodred part of the bloodred dragarth? It's almost entirely black, with tiny little droplets of blood, and the pink mouth looks quite odd. I'm also not fond of the pose or the legs. The rear legs look like they belong to a biped, but the forelegs look like they belong to a quad. Meh.
