Various parts of the site have been changed to reflect the new item mouse-over effect. This is going to be tweaked and changed, and moved around site-wide over the next few days.
Hopefully, you'll soon be able to gather all the data you need from an item by just hovering over it :)
Note: If you are having trouble getting this, or the new user-mouseovers to work, hold Ctrl on your keyboard, and press F5. This will reload the javascript libraries that were updated today :) If that doesn't work, clear ALL cache and temporary files - and it will defiantly reload.
PS: This is NOT SITEWIDE yet. At the moment this only works on select parts of the site, and is being extended over the next few days.

i must say, major kudos to whoever had the idea to do this and who ever coded it. It simply rocks. i feel sorry for the server, but i absolutely love this mouse-over. great job guys. it makes it so much easier to do things now. yay. janedoe is officially happy.
At first I thought it's a great idea but after surfing around a bit and doing quests ... it gets annoying after a while (especially if you really don't want to see it and your cursor happens to be in the wrong place) and I really wished I could turn it off now. btw takes a while to load, my internet connection might be too slow or my pc is too old :S

Great idea! Now people using Firefox won't have to worry about the mouse-overs not working. I have a slow computer and it works fine.

It's a nice idea, but it can get annoying really fast, especially when you're trying to do item quests. It can also get annoying when you want to view your own profile and your whole avatar comes up.
Plus it must be hell for older slow computers to have to spit up these images so often.

Sorry to say that if this pop up thing is kept, I'll be getting little use from the site. It locks my browsers(and sometimes my system). I'm pretty much at the point now to where I've got to be exceptionally careful not to roll over anything, plus, I'm having to avoid places that have them by the dozens... I really do not like this... at all.
This is not to forget the sudden increase on load time.
Please, offer us a way to eliminate them on our end if nothing else, if we do not wish to have to deal with them.

This is a brilliant idea I love it!. Before it was far too time consuming having to keep clicking the items and then when you've seen there info having to click the back button. Keith, since yesterday, every link i click (every page) I have an internet explorer script error box pop up dozens of times until the page is loaded... the error says "parentNode is null or not an item" and im about ready to throw my comp out a window! can you or anyone sMail me with a way to fix this, Please? thankyou<img src=http://www.subeta.org/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif border=0>
I wanted to suggest this for sometime now.. I LOVE the descriptions of these items.. some of the artists have the twisted since of humor that I possess and so very much enjoy.. its going to be so fun to be able to read descriptions of things w/o having to buy them.. ( or remember them when they are in my gallery!!)

someone helped me out with the what to do for a mac issue, you might consider posting both things in the news posts. and i now can see the thing i said about it all going in one line - that's only in opera, in safari its in a nice little box.
