We’re going to ask you to bear with us again for what should [hopefully] be the last bit of significant downtime as we complete our upgrade to colocation!
At 8:00pm, September 24, 2007 [yes, today – sorry for the short notice!] we will be down for an unspecified amount of time to move the remains of Subeta from our old, dedicated servers to our new, collocated ones!
For those that are interested in the technical properties of this move, we’ve gone from one webserver to three, doubled the capacity of our database server along with many other improvements that you’ll hopefully see and feel in faster page loads and more users online!

talk about short notice, *sigh* sorry, i have to admit to feeling a little frustrated. I think its a great idea that you have moved everything over and congrats and i'm sure it wasn't an easy kob, but i wasn't online when this news post came up. All i found was a message page or no page at all for what, almost 2 days? As i said it's great that it is done and i apreciate that it wasn't easy, but as a user that regularly pays for my own and others montly accounts, I would have liked a little more notice and more info. Does this mean that the Gold Account holders will get extra time on our accounts due to the large ammount of down time?
